Totally agree with everything you have said, so as for the food around the frame, with mine I got mine made bigger than I needed. So it sits at the front of it with space behind it for food, so the fish can also get the food behind it as well. Keep up with the videos role on spring with the weather we had this last year it could be her before we know it. We will all be taking spawning best food and so on!

I decided to have one having seen yours. I tried to use a frame that was free standing but it wasn't great as it did indeed move. I had a steel frame specially built that screwed into the sleepers. Added a 14" deep, 20" long aquarium which sat on the base of the frame and it worked great...EXCEPT...the sun caused it to get algae green ( i used a magnet cleaner from my marine tank to clean it ) and every time I did a water change ( 3 times a week ) all the water emptied from the tower. So I had to use a tube to 'suck' out all the air to fill it up again. My pond is in the ground so I had to bend almost double to fill it up again. Not easy when you have breathing issues...and now...the frame and aquarium sit in my basement. Every day is a school day. Not easy getting the food into the tower as well. It looked great but too much aggro. Shame really. The fish did look good when they swam inside. Would love to add a pic so you could see it.

It’s something I’ve always thought about doing but with a larger tank my only concern would be the pressure inside it on the glass😢 don’t know if it would worry me too much. But really like the extra vision and feel it gives off

Hiya, I've found it fascinating have it works. I'm told that the aquariums are designed to hols the weightnof water and with the same water part of the pond, that should eliminate the pressure issues.. Maybe one day I will be able to create the larger skypond and test that theory.. 🤔🤔😉👍

Hiya, the water in the tower is always circulating as the fish push water in when they are using it. The Archimedes theory of water displacement comes Into effect..😉👍

Hiya, I was told its a Heron when I bought it from Stapley Water Gardens about 7 years ago. I don't even knowing that place it still open? Some people say they don't work but I've not had any herons since its intro.😉👍
