I just got a gig for a short time at Honda selling cars and i knew the industry biasness and what not but dude i realized it wasnt just with salesman it was mostly customers that just had no remorse it was like selling cars they didnt even think it was a job i was just there for free.

I clean a big store front for $150 and the guy said that’s cheap. I finish in 30-45 minutes. Every time it feels like I’ve charged too much. Neighbors have similar size. I quoted $115. And he laughs in my face and said I’m $105 too high. Wanted to pay me $10 😂

The most common mistake in business service or even in art is that people can't charge enough for their work, because of pre programmed shame, guilt that we don't deserve what we are worth.

Is door to door the best way to get residential clients? I’ve tried to just pass out flyers but I got zero call backs. I’ve had about 8 clients so far and they all came from me knocking on their house. I’m asking because I hate door to door but if it’s what I have to do then oh well

@@WindowCleaningBluePrint they’re pretty basic. Which is probably why they haven’t worked. At the top they say Exterior Window Cleaning Services and under that is a little window and squeegee design and under that is says Free Quote Today with my number under that and then it has my business name and my name at the very bottom. It is on like a tan paper with all black text. I did that because it was the cheapest I could find.

Do the door to door. Even if they don’t say yes the first time you can leave a good impression and try again later. No one called you back like you said. You got clients from talking to them at their house
