When the girl in the bucket hat brought up Lui Yuxin, the winner of the female idol contest Youth With You it made me so happy!! Liu Yuxin dresses, sings, raps, and acts masculine and she ended up winning 1st place in an idol competition that was voted by the people! She’s popular in China and she’s so badass, and she even states her own mother doesn’t like her style but it’s the style she feels the most comfortable and at the end of the day that’s the most important thing. I’m happy to see that she was brought up to help explain the situation xx

The woman that said “If you bully her she may end up jumping off a building” hit me hard. Bullying caused me a severe depression and suicidal tendencies since the age of 14, so what she was saying is 100% real and should not be ignored.
@trestonfrazier80883 жыл бұрын
Me too I was bullied since first grade and caused me to have depression and anxiety. My mother is wondering why am I like this and wishes with all her might that I was happy again, and I got a bunch of suicidal thoughts and breakdowns, and I won’t be able to recover. (Also I’m not trying to be dramatic I’m just telling my story)

@@trestonfrazier8088 I don’t think you’re dramatic at all, this thing happens more than it should. I wish you the best. Now I’m 20 and I’m living more or less happily, I still suffer from depression and suicidal thoughts but I’ve stopped being bulimic and clean from self harm for 4 years now. Thanks to new people I’ve met and friends I’ve made the last 3 years I’ve been getting better, so I hope something or someone good comes to your life and you can be able at least to enjoy a little bit of life❤️, because to be honest those days when I’m happy I feel like the luckiest girl in the world

Agree 100% but not just girls, boys too. A persons style is their own. You do not have to like it as is your right... what is not your right though is to push your thoughts or ideas onto others. That is for them to decide themselves.

honestly as weird as it seems, when I went to visit family in China was the first time i truly felt comfortable being butch. In America where I live, people for some reason are compelled to put a label on you, gay, trans, lesbian etc, and they obviously treat you different depending on what label they decide to give you. I felt like I had to justify being butch. But in China no one cared, they see you as a customer, tourist, a client etc. They Chinese just see your position in relation to themselves, who you are doesn't matter, thus everyone is treated the same. I hope I explained that correctly

I love the girl who stayed with the 'bullies' and scolded them with compassion. Imo that's probably the hardest way to actually confront people spouting hate but also the best way. Most of the time yelling at people will only make them defensive and nothing will change

@Saiyaku Ish huhu same, but different tools.. like knifes, hard wood, or just take our foot and Throw us at the floor. They said it was because of they love us, but honestly.. it just makes the child doesn't have childhood lol I framed my sister, she got slap because of that. I'm kinda tired she keep hurting me emotionally and physically again and again like just let me sprinkle the pepper- But I got karma, now .. my younger sister literally hated me because my mom said I'm a monster, devil or ghost wooo~ everyone framed me, and no one really think about me. But that's my karma lol probably because people think I'm already mature *shed tears like a childish kid* . I don't even had my puberty yet WTF.

4:21 i was so touched when the woman confronted both bullies with gentleness and kindness instead. I'm not saying the way others approached the situation is invalid of course you can't help but burst into anger when you see someone being oppresed, but I just like how (maybe after she comforted the girl being bullied) she also talked truthfully and sincerely so that the bullies wouldn't feel even more rebellious when they get scolded and make them reflect on their previous actions instead. She corrected their mistakes because the woman wanted the best for the two bullies, and that is the urge to change for themselves not just because someone told them so.

Liu Yuxin being a role model to others is so heart warming to see (3:42) especially if you know her story back then, just like the girl in the video Yuxin has also face a lot of criticism from the others even her own mother criticize her from the way she looks but that doesn't hinder her at all instead she gradually took all those criticism as a driving force for her to work harder, she proved to the others that you don't need to be feminine to be define as a girl what matters is you're being real and true to yourself, now look at her she is now getting all the recognition that she deserves, I just want to say that she inspires me a lot to be a better version of myself and I thank her for that I love her I'm really proud of her from what she have become now
