2 on the trot; 2 great writer, producers (Butch & Roger...) with the combined powerhouse enthusiasms of creators utterly and totally inside of their chosen quests; animated, non-stop and apparently inexhaustable - but interesting, fun and perfectly off-the-wall when needed. Yet again, I took much longer watching this end to end, because I had to keep opening other pages and referencing the music I didn't know that well, or at all. That was a five course meal of a vid and tasty, too.

47:50 "All the great bands were having an identity crisis." Really interesting observation. I never thought of bands having that issue but rather that it was the industry and the industry heads that had the crises. "Let the band make the best music they can" was probably not the comment most heard at any point in the modern age of music (last hundred years or so). I always thought "the issue" was outside of the band in that sense. Having said that, I was always into the bands that knew pretty much exactly what they wanted to achieve. (Queen, Rush, Yes, Kansas and others) When the industry stayed out of their way, they flourished and so eventually did the industry.
