My wife used to work there at Gunby hall for the national trust as a volunteer until covid stopped it we enjoyed the walk round the garden you must have a return visit in the summer its really nice with all the rose beds and flowers

That is a absolutely beautiful place we have had a national trust family membership for years and plenty of national trust places to explore in Lincolnshire. The house is AMAZING. Kitchens and some super spooky corridors the other side of the doors you had a feeling the other side of I had the same when I walked down the corridors when I visited. Ha ha! You with your shed, reminds me of my ex, back in 1984, he built a temporary fence, to separate the yard from the garden, so that the dogs could use the yard for their business , 2023 it's still standing to this day!

I've been Gunby Hall once years ago on way home from a holiday in Skegness. I used to go few places around Manchester area often too with my National Trust card & been couple of places when visiting London with Historic Royal Palace's card.

Hi Sharon and Martin that was a lovely place you went to pity it was closed perhaps it opens at easter if you've never been to high clare Castle in Newbury well known as downton abbey the TV series its such a lovely house but not national trust the owners live in the big house on the you floors I went with my hubby a while back on a coach holiday what you see on the TV its the same as in the house another beautiful house its chatsworth house in Derbyshire that national trust property when j go round big houses its amazing how they paint a picture on the ceiling .I 😅love watching all the programmes like downton abbey how they lived and the servants how they worked 2swlovd to you all love fran

I am so jealous. I long to live in England. My maternal gran Anna was part English. Pye was her maiden name. One of her ancestors was in the House of Lords. I visited years ago when I was 17. Went to STONEhenge All over London and slept in a very old and scary castle lollll I would move to England tomorrow if my family agreed to follow. Oh well, I can dream.
