Airport Disaster - Lanzarote Here We Come

Have a wonderful holiday.....thankyou for keeping my occupied while in hospital been in since 18th April, had pancreatic & liver surgery half way through they cut an artery & they struggled to stop the bleeding to repair it after 15 hours in & out of theatre they managed it & I was in intensive care for 2 weeks, still need to have surgery all over again in the next 3 weeks ...thankyou again & safe flight home ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am the same with air con Sharon, makes me ill !!!! I get real bunged, bad ears etc aswell from flying. A friend of mine has the same issue and happened to be sitting next to a doctor on the way home from Benidorm many years ago……….He recommended taking an antihistamine and decongestant tabs an hour before the flight ✈️………I have now done that for the last 9/10 years now……and it’s a definite God send ❤❤❤ Happy Holidays people 🎉

Always find it ironic that security didn't allow nail clippers in your hand baggage but in business or first class the airline gives you metal knives and forks when eating your meal

I started a sore throat the day before I went to San Francisco, the plane journey was horrendous, the holiday wasn't the best, and I had to take two weeks off work when I got home!! My wonderful son bought me a another holiday to San Francisco, a couple of years later, to make up for it! 😃 I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

Wow!!! In 2007 my wife and I went there for our honeymoon. We stayed at the "hotel Lanzarote paradise" which is only 3.4km from where you're staying. If you get sick of black sand beach then there's a lovely normal sand beach not far away. It's called playa de las cucharas. What a great place to go and we hope you enjoy

We stayed at El Trebol and had a lovely holiday a couple of years ago. Love the airport in Lanzarote. Not too large. Would recommend Los Jameos Playa in Playa Poscillis. Excuse spelling. In Majorca atm ❤️🐸

Woot, woot - lovely Lanza! We stayed at the Beatriz 20 years ago - good hotel but rooms need a refurb. My daughter has lived in Costa Teguise for over 25 years - she appeared in Jane McDonald's recent TV show from there - she showed Jane around the old town of Teguise and the Timplé maker (her name's Stacey). Do make use of the spa - it's brill. Do try and get to Puerto Calero if you can - it's a gorgeous little harbour with some beautiful yachts. Try out Tekkers bar - great food and coffees! Enjoy the beautiful island of Lanzarote both of you! x

My husband has sleep apnea and needs his CPAP and most hotels have one or no bedside sockets, they should have at least one each side, not bothered about usb as we always take chargers but we also have to take a long extension lead to enable him to be safe whilst sleeping. And we have, over the years, learnt to remove any trace of it during the day as a tube was once broken by the daily house keeping maids, not blaming them, they don’t know but we just remove it to a safe place when we get up now. I do believe that sleep apnea is a fairly common thing now so hotels should be catering for this. ❤

We flew with Ryan Air to Puerto a few weeks ago. Never again. Paid for various extras which we didn't get, nothing to watch on the plane and no power points. Booked it through another company, so didn't have a choice really. To cap it all, caught a bad cold on holiday (sympathies, Sharon) and burst my ear drum on the flight home (not RA's fault, I know). Still, we got home safely, thankfully! Have a great holiday and hope you're fully better, soon, Sharon!
