Hi Martin for what it's worth those round locators up the doors edge are ajustable with an allen key, they are on an offset cam ? ask me how i now, ATB Wayne ............

Good test for the door seal is same on cars, get a piece of a4 paper and close the door on it, adjust until paper doesn’t move, also you can adjust the lower latch on those double glazed doors.

On Chris door on the lock side of the frame there's lock keepers that you can adjust to pull the door tight when you lift handle and lock

All you have to do is move the housing back where the botoom latch fits in to about 2mm. Then screw it in to place. It'll then pull it tight

Adjustment on the hinges usually on the inside of hinge when door is open the adjustment there can throw the door in top or bottom etc and small alan key usually for adjustment up n down on underside of hinges you will suss it 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Have you tried adjusting by the door hinges? You can change the tightness of the door to the frame

Global opening and closing is standard on the St Mondeo on sunroof models it opens and closes aswell. If you ever disconect the battery though you have to re programme it. But you do that easily using the driver door window switches.

Looking at the door handle mechanism, the bottom receiver on the door frame (I'm not sure what it's called but it engages with the bottom locking mechanism when you lift the door handle upwards) might need moving back a millimetre or two to close the gap.

Try Adjusting the hinges with some Alan keys it will pull the door in and close the gap 👍
