BUTTER PECAN ICE CREAM | NO COOK RECIPE |

Quick and easy Butter Pecan Ice Cream is creamy, crunchy, sweet and salty! So heavenly!
Ingredients:
Ice Cream Base-
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup whole milk
a couple dashes sea salt
2 cups heavy cream
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
Candied Pecans-
1 cup pecans
3 Tbsp butter
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 Tbsp brown sugar

My fifth time making this!!! I wanted less pecans so I only put a tablespoon or 2 and kept the table spoon of brown sugar, but used 1 tablespoon of butter....i wanted less in the ice cream😊😊

My most favorite of all is Mayfield southern butter pecan. I notice itctastescso much creamier and better than the rest. It says it has buttermilk in it. Would you have an idea how to make this with a buttermilk recipe? I bet this is good cause there ain't a bad butter pecan, but If I could makecit like Mayfield it sure would save me some money lol.

@@HappilyHomecooking I was thinking the same about replacing the milk. I've never made ice cream at all so thank you for showing me it's not as hard as I thought it would be. I've tasted many different butter pecans, and Mayfield is just so differently delicious I started comparing ingredients lists. Its the one that uses whole fat items and buttermilk. I said wow that has to be why it's so good. Thank you for the video! And thank you for the response 😊

I wouldn't say that you HAVE to toast the pecans, but I just generally do out of habit, since it enhances their flavor and texture in my opinion. But I have never tried it without toasting them and it may taste exactly the same for all I know.😆 If you try it, I would love to hear how it turns out!

I have never tried making ice cream without an ice cream maker, but I know there are definately methods out there for that. Sorry I can't be of more help!
