Might well be the best I've seen from You! Despite the riding, creativity and editing being obviously top notch, I always come back for your open and honest way of presentation. Thank you for just being exited and determined at what you do. Glad to see you out and shining after the rougher times you had!

Totaly agree with you. That AliMonsterQuestMingler is so motivated he got me in his mood... I just got my trial bike out three weeks ago after a long canadian winter trying back hops on ice while last year I barely succeeded to hop back and sideway and this week I defied my own mind saying "danger, keep off" trying to roll down then up then back hop and sideway hop to land down still holding on back wheel and follow by a short wheely all of it on a section of curb which looks from the side as a smooth riverbed transversal section. It's located at Port Hope ON-Route service area just between the trucks parking and the main building. I also tried to hop up the cutted stone pile behind the coffeeshop by the car exit... but too much for my experience. Still Ali... seing you help me push myself and learn more. Thank for you spirit and always enjoyable descriptions of your bikes and quest you do with them! Honestly would like to see you on those fallen trees with John Carthy guy from Shin Dig and/or (sorry I forgot their names) guys with which you returned to competitions. Your group spirit is a family must see show here with my young son and daughter... it pushes them also to try a bit more each time with their Monty P205.

Great to see the behind the scenes of the edit. Always wonder, how many tries did this or that take when you watch edits, so always enjoy seeing the behind the scenes. What's cool is sometimes the moves you thought took many, many tries, were actually the ones that went the easiest and the ones that looked simple, maybe 1st or 2nd try doable, took the most attempts. OT, but still waiting on the Hope hub, Pawls mod vid for those of us with them looking to experiment.
@Ali_Clarkson
@Ali_Clarkson 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Lynx...out of curiosity which did you think were the easy moves and which were the hard? It's quite interesting to get peoples thoughts on this :) Hope hub video will happen but Adam from Tartybikes is going to be doing it and it's a 6 hour round journey to visit him so we're waiting for a couple of other things to line up so we can make the most of my time down with him :)

Um, let's see if I can recall unbiased after watching the behind the scenes...IIRC the one up onto the piece of tree broken off, but still attached, I thought you made that look too easy in the edit, must have taken a load of tries and that last one with the stump from a broken off branch sticking up somehow seemed like it would have been an easier for you, oh and the one down the steep bank to hard right, didn't think that one was so tech from the edit :-) But I don't, couldn't even think of looking at any of that stuff and consider any of it possibly rideable, so judging is quite hard. Most I can do is get my front wheel up on a ledge when I need it LOL. I remember watching the behind the scenes of Danny's 70s rock themed edit and thinking that the slide across the top of the table was a breeze, took a couple tries, but when I watched the behind the scenes I then found out it took him like over 500 attempts, IIRC, might be way more, but a lot.

Someone stole my Titanium framed 26x5" fatbike (Motobecane Sturgis Bullet Ti), so I built a Framed Minnesota 2.0 by hand with a 120mm wide Bottom Bracket and oversized cartridge bearing headset. The BMX riders that I allowed to test it at the skatepark were all in utter awe of the control, grip, and cushion of the tires, even at only 20psi. Motobecane pre-built= $2600 Framed hand built = $1000 And I accomplished this during 2021, when bike shops were saying they couldn't get stuff. It's officially 14 months old, and hasn't been to the repair shop even once, yet. 🤓 It was awesome to see you ride a proper "big boy" bike trials style 🤘

You absolutely can, they’re just like normal bikes I guess…find a frame size that fits and it’ll be spot on. The 26” wheels are more like 27.5 or 29” at the outer circumference with the big tyres which is why they still use 26” rim diameter
