Truly wonderful, Guy. It's the details like the chamfer for the lower rail that make this stand out.

+KSFWG Thanks Dave! There is one more thing that needs to be done also on the rail which is cover up the end grain.

One step closer to completion, I'd say you're doing a great job Guy!

Thanks Maurice! With only the weekends to work on it, I hope to have it done by Christmas.

Well Guy, this is a amazing serie and I'm loving every minutes of it! I really enjoy videos that are intricate and make you think ahead... those video sure cover that! Can't wait to see the end table...

Thanks Tomy! I think the difficult phase is over. However I will be laminating the veneer to the top with a vacuum press which I have never used before. It should be interesting!

+Steve Lyde Thanks Steve! What you going to make with all that sapele and walnut you picked up?
@SL18009 жыл бұрын
GuysWoodshop I'm going to add a BenchCrafted CrissCross to the leg vise of my workbench. So I'm going to rebuild the chop using walnut just to dress it up a little. The Sapele may become another G&G project, perhaps a coffee table.

You could always give it a go on a prototype. I've had a go at upholstery, its not as hard as it seems

Guy, As always, looking really good. I always enjoy your videos, please keep them coming. You make it look too easy. By the way, who is the manufacturer of the blue vacuum hose and who do you purchase it from? Looking forward to seeing it complete! Bob
@GuysShop9 жыл бұрын
+Bob Gellenbeck Thanks Bob! It is a Bosch anti-static hose. I think it's 5 meters. It's about a third the price of the Festool hose, and you can get it on Amazon.

Coming together nicely. It would have been fun to see the glue-up - fun for us but not necessarily fun for you ;-)

Hey Marty! I knew it was going to be a bear and thought I had it all planned out. As soon as glue hit the wood, all my planning went to hell in a hand basket. Maybe I should publish as how not to do a glue up?

Hey John. I watched it again for what you spoke of. The sound is matching up on my end. Don't know what it could be.
@johnconklin90399 жыл бұрын
Huh, that's wild. It was off probably as much as 30 seconds or more. Guess it could be just on mine, I'll try it again later and see if it does it again. Really enjoy your builds.

Kinda crazy. Thanks for watching even though the sound is off. It's all about the project anyways, right?
