Love it. Especially when your mom makes Roti. Being from a Scottish Background she learnt and adapted to the backwaters of Guyana very fast. Like you I emigrated to the US when I was 18. Like you; I came from similar culture a place called #2 Canal Polder. Glad to see you working hard and adapting to your new life. Its not cheesy peesy. God Bless you n family.
