What are your thoughts about buttkikers, Pro vs Plus, what's better?

@@AdamsRock I don’t know which is better. I have the Plus under my pedals… very nice feedback. I have the Pro under my seat… more mass where it’s mounted… I get very deep vibrations. I would say you probably only need one or the other. I’d probably go with the Pro just to be sure you’d get the results you are looking for. Hope that helps.

Thanks for showong me this as I recently put this under my rig and essnetially it just vibrates non damn stop. I want to get it where i can tell when Abs is engauging, or track control. Going to try to set up it using simhub. Thnaks again

@youngbeliz6177 thank you! At the lower settings, it is much more quiet. But if it is too low, you can't feel it. It takes some time, but you can strike the right balance of feedback and noise.

Fortunately the plus was sold out and I purchased the Pro. I didn't know that the y splitter connection is weaker at purchase, as I use that to use my Logitech z906 surround sound. The pro does a fine job with the weaker more subdued signal on a office chair. The signal from USB is over kill on my set up and no surround sound. Playing thru a Valve index, I'm in sim heaven. Just sitting idling in a F1 car is joyful, let alone driving a loud 68 Camaro OMG!!!!!!!

@@JCCollinsRacing A couple of weeks. It too a while and wasted money getting my Logitech z906 surround sound system to work with the Buttkicker. Emails with their help team solved the issue.

So i have 2 buttkickers connected, one on the pedals and one on the seat. Is it my understanding you can’t separately control haptics to the fromt from the rear? Its a global control? I really want to send the rpms to the pedals but NOT TO THE SEAT? How do i do that?

@paulgreenwood69 you can use SimHub and assign different base shakers for different places on the car. SimHub is free and fairly simple to setup. Let me know if this helps!

Did you just use the USB connection with simhub?

@Akiran00 yes. I tried both the USB and Y-Splitter. Both work fine with SimHub. The USB is stronger and more detailed. It's also easier to set the USB to a different output source. With the Y-Splitter, whenever you change the volume of your speakers, the power of the ButtKicker is adjusted at the same time.

I was going to ask the same question. I move my gamer 2 between my office chair and GT lite. I will use the USB for my telemetry based effects and the audio out for the rest of my games. Right now I have my gamer 2 connected to a $9 usb sound card and third party software to control the separate volumes on different channels. External amp/speakers on the computers back audio connectors, headphones on front connectors, gamer 2 on external sound card, and Reverb 2 on USB. Good review...THANKS
