@TheBombDiggity694205 ай бұрын
I'm currently running 7 shakers on my rig via a home theater receiver. The immersion it adds is amazing. As for the vibration of everything else around the rig, I purchased some industrial dampening springs, like for large AC compressors. It is what the Slip-Angle kit provides with it's full setup. There is absolutely no vibration outside of the rig and because the rig can physically move on the springs, the vibration is even more intense.

If you think its a gimmmick only. You have to try one first. I only added 1 and it adds so much more to the game. Shifting and downshifting is so much more fun. And like what he said. Some races the straights gets boring but with the but kicker it feels you accelarating speed bec of the vibration like you can feel the motor of the car. Only suggestions is, if you only have 1 buttkicker do not activate too many effects coz its gna overwhelm the buttkicker. Just turn on, engine vibration, gear shift, road texture. And curb effect. That should be enough. Anything more thatn that will be worse. And only works great on pc bec of the software. Console i wouldnt recommend it

@dannyleeracing2 жыл бұрын
The rig-mounted screens are totally unaffected by the vibrations, luckily. I wouldn't say there's any cause to mount monitors separately to isolate them from the rest of the rig. In general I am quite surprised at how the rig-mounted monitors aren't affected by force feedback shocks too

@dannyleeracing Жыл бұрын
I've never had mine shut off or overheat - I run it somewhat high but not mega loads otherwise it'll clip. People suffering overheats might just be pushing it too hard at too broad a level, but then again it should also be able to manage its heat properly to prevent a shutdown (by limiting the volume internally to bring the heat down)

@dannyleeracing Жыл бұрын
Hey man! It will create vibrations that might transmit through your floor/walls unless you put a lot of effort into insulating the rig, but that doesn't mean it can't be done. You COULD attach the buttkicker to your seat and isolate that from the rest of the rig so that it doesn't create resonance and you still get decent response.

Hey Danny, love your videos man. And +1 on the question someone asked, if you could answer I would be really grateful: "Is mounting the buttkicker on the left side of your rig make the feedback feel left side biased?" I wondered about that after watching the video as well. Thanks!
@dannyleeracing2 жыл бұрын
Hey Luis, thanks for asking! - it doesn't feel like it's left-side biased to me, the vibration feels all-round to me. It might be because this rig is obviously very solid and so conducts vibrations uniformly, whereas other rig types might be more 'localised'. I'm curious some have this and some have 4 of them. Does the gamer plus actually work well even if its just 1 transducer? Wouldn't just one just make noise meaning some of the inputs get drowned out by other sounds?
@dannyleeracing Жыл бұрын
I think having 4 of them is a bit overkill, but that's just me. Mine works great despite being just the 1 and I definitely miss it when I turn it off. But the more transducers you have, the stronger and more varied the effects you can probably run without any clipping. Like having 4 speakers running at medium rather than 1 on high, it'll be stronger yet more dynamic. At least that's my guess.
