Please contue filming tutorials to your patterns. It makes a huge difference for beginner sewers having this kind of assistance. It gives us confidence to try "harder projects" and makes us chose your patterns over those of others. It's genius and very important. I also love the delicacy of your designs, it's quite rare nowadays. Thank you so much ❤

I love how you show step-by-step in your computer animation showing which side sew this is amazing I’ve been watching these shows most of the morning and no one does it so detailed but you’re very detail oriented and telling us how to do it that’s great because I really want to learn how to sew but all the other ones that you watch they didn’t do it like you do it you do it really really good you show every single piece and everything is just amazing and I love your dresses when they’re finished they’re just so beautiful love to have one of them are just beautiful

I'm really struggling with sewing the right bodice pieces together using the D-cup pattern, I can't find any visuals anywhere of how it's supposed to look since it's different than the smaller sizes, and I haven't seen anyone make it in D-cup.. Do you happen to have any visuals or tips for how to do it? Specially at the section with the loop tape

You made a beautiful dress pattern ❤. I’m just getting ready to sew it. I can’t wait! Can you give me 2 tips? - what kind of material do you use as stay tapes? - I saw your other video that you sewed a dress with belt. Did you make the belt yourself?

Wow! It really came out very professional. I purchased your pattern earlier today and I can't wait to get started! Also, is it possible to do an overlock stitch on a normal sewing machine? Do I need a special foot?
@jessi88lee3 жыл бұрын
You can do a zigzag stitch with your machine instead of overlocking. I've used it myself and there are tutorials about it.

I have bought this pattern, I have a couple of questions. I have bought medium weight interfacing so is thicker than yours. How do I cut it? When you pull it is it strong or does it stretch and pull apart? Also I don't have an overlocker will this be a problem? Many thanks I cannot wait to create this dress 😊
@DARIAPatternmaking Жыл бұрын
You have to cut the interfacing so that it would be in a non-stretch direction. So your neckline as well as the cuffs won't stretch out. Instead of an overlocker stitch, you can use a zigzagstitch along the edges. Thank you!
@lovespaniel353 жыл бұрын
What an amazing video ! I do have a question though, how much fabric do I need for the blouse ?

This is incredible! Around the 9 minute mark I wasn't really able to see well so I have a question. If I don't habe an overlocker will I be able to do what you did with a ziczac stitch?
@DARIAPatternmaking3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Of course, you can finish all the edges with a zig zag stitch! Or domestic machines also has this overedging stitch, similar to an overlocker.
