I just watched your B group, Buttonwillow video from 15. You got ridiculously faster in 2 years. Well done.

Loving these track vids! I just got an 02 last week and I've already got the itch to get it on the track. Keep up with the vids!

Congrats on the purchase! You'll get many years of great riding out of it. It's a great track bike, especially with slicks if you can get your hands on some.

Are you racing with stock suspension? Thoughts on dropping $2,000 on Ohlins through Kyle Racing? Seems to be the "go to" suspension for RC51s used as track bikes.
@jetstream017 жыл бұрын
Ducky27645 My suspension is completely stock. I had it set at a track day one time a but I couldn't feel the difference. The bike handles so we'll I've never felt the need to upgrade. But Ohlins would be nice if you have the cash!

Fun videos, good riding jetstream! I bet it felt like a workout on this tight track with the RC51.

kmfiz Thanks! And YES it's exhausting. My heart rate probably stays around 160 after I've been riding A group pace for a few laps. I always wonder why I'm so tired then I remember the bike I'm on.

Hi, do you use adjustable rearsets? are your sets higher than standart? Thanks
@jetstream015 жыл бұрын
I never had aftermarket rearsets on the RC51, but now that I have a race bike that DOES have them, I'd 100% recommend getting adjustable rearsets. I'm 6'2" and being able to move the rearsets down and back made a MASSIVE difference in riding comfort and body position.

Loving the vids man, how do you find the Scott's steering dampener?
@jetstream017 жыл бұрын
VertSP1 it came with the bike but it actually doesn't even work any more. It needs to be rebuilt.

Cheers for the reply man, was it good while it was working? I was thinking if getting one for my SP1 (RC51) Thanks again.
@jetstream017 жыл бұрын
VertSP1 yeah it's actually really good. There have been a bunch of times it has come in handy. I love how compact it is too and it's easy to remove if you ever need to.

Good morning sir, few years ago (RC51 at Laguna Seca ) i noticed that you put your microphone on the sock of the front brakes and now it seems to be in an other place. Can you tell me where please ? I'am riding an Ducati Superbike 848 and i was using a GOpro 1 HD. www.dailymotion.com/video/x2sldoj Now times changed and it's with a brand new Hero5 Black & Dagee microphone that i'm going to film so i gather some tips :) Best regards, Thomas.

Thomas BARBIER I've actually resorted to using the onboard mic for the GoPro again. I did some tests and it sounds better than the cheap mic I was using. But I think anywhere out of the wind would be a good spot. I can't use the case with this gyro mount, so the wind noise will always be bad on bikes that have a low wind screen (like my friend's 1098).
