​@@jetstream01 It was really a blast! I raced at Daytona for many years on a lot of different bikes. The RC was my second favorite bike there. First fav was my '86 GSXR 750 Super Bike.

Great vid, you were the fastest rider out there for sure. Nice to see the RC51 sucking up all those other bikes! I'll be at TH on March 31 2019, with a friend and our RC51's. Only my second track day ever, but the first one was TH, so not totally unfamiliar.

Going to have a track day at Thunder Hill a lot more safer than racing around the hill’s where I live in Santa Cruz mountains going up to Alice’s Restaurant , my son on his Honda 600 CBR and me on my RC51.Great riding on your RC51!

Frank Kuhr thanks! Gotta say though...that ride to Alice's is super nice. Not to mention the restaurant itself is really cool. But yep, gotta get out on the track! No tickets, no bad roads, and a bunch of cool bikes. Hard to beat that!

Does your bike have a dead spit in the throttle? Seems like i can hear it lagging a bit. I had an rc many moons ago. Want yo get another one & do track days with my son

No dead spot. You may be hearing the rpm change or lag from the change in direction when I turn. Since the circumference of the tire changes it can sound like that sometimes. Definitely get another one they're awesome!

Are you stock gearing and have you done the flapper mod?

Brian Rinner Stock gearing, yes. No flapper mod, but I do have the vacuum tube disconnected so it just stays open.

wow, some really horrible riding from some of the people around you. Defo need to get yourself into a faster group, they are disturbing your flow.

Yeah I was only running B group here because it was my first time at the track. I've since moved up to A group.
