Buy or Bust? Checking Out a Used Harley Street 750

Started out on one of these for about a year. It was a great bike to start with in a big city. Traded in for an iron 1200. Definitely would recommend as an intro bike.

I have a mint 2016 750 - dude I don't care what anyone says about this bike. It rides like a dream. The only issue I have is that the battery will run out if you don't hook it up to a charge maintainer. Other than that is a damn good bike

I know so bad rap on this bike, I have one myself 2016 street bike 750 and I love it. Changes on the pipes made it louder, wind shield, engine bar more extra lights led, fancy brake lights, saddle bags and back racks and more. It stand out they never know that it is a street 750. They even thought it is a Dyna hahahaha. 2018 black dyna check it out.

I've got a Street 750 and recently added a Bassani slip-on, Screaming Eagle air intake and Power Vision tune all of which woke up the bike big time. Was previously looking to upsize my ride but after this change will happily be keeping hold of the Street for a while longer. Ride safe

Just purchase a 750 with all the screaming eagle upgrades. It's also tuned. All braided lines and upgraded spark plugs and wires. It's bad ass and I love it!!!!

Jon, i have had a street rod since nov '19. Its my first bike. I did my training on a street 500. The street rod is miles ahead and way better than the regular street and you can customize the ergo to suit your needs. Also change the pipe to a vance and hines and it will be like a whole new bike. Very nimble and high torque. Only issue is at the higher speeds it kind of begs for it. But for a bike like this its great for the purpose it was designed for. If you really want to get a street model i would say go for a street rod not a regular street.

If you like that, you will love the Street Rod 750. The street 750 has 53hp and 43tq, the Street Rod 750 has 69hp and 45t. The Street Rod also has inverted forks and dual disc rotors up front too, while the Street 750 has normal forks and a single disc among a few other things. So with that being said the Street Rod appears to be a significantly better bike IMO. They both sound pretty damn good with an aftermarket exhaust, I do know that!

Problem with the styling of the street rod is that it looks more of like a little bit short for a sportsbike some refer to them as sports cruisers... but the looks of just a standard street 750 especially in denim black ⚫ color would easily pass as one of those bikes shown in the series SOA....so tough looking

Buy....But maybe not that one in particular. Not unless you're getting it for a damn good deal. I've had my Street 750 for about a year and a half now. I bought brand new. I put a new High-flow intake and a Speed Merchant slip-on exhaust. I got mine in Wicked Red Deluxe and it looks wayyyy better than any other color (IMO anyways). Next is to get a new Mustang seat, Progressive shocks, and different mirrors that I can actually see with.

I had an 2018 street rod with a firebrand exhaust. Sounded awesome. Mine was electro. Blue, looked the best I think!

I own one...n yes not greatest looking bikes...but it feels great. Also took of rear fender which make it look more compact. I love mine n the price was great.

Can you change the seats on the Street 750? I want more of a traditional single seat and not a bench seat. I guess something like the iron 883 seat is what I would rather have appearance wise.

They say the street 750 was a failure. I disagree Harley wanted to try a different direction and it didn’t work out. For right now they are not holding their value which is a good thing. I might grab one of the these things dirt cheap and see what happens .

Can’t you put the bike into diagnostic mode and get the code to find out what causes the engine light to come on, like you can with the other Harley’s????

No. At least the 2015-2016 Streets didn't do that. They may have from 2017 on as several functions got added to the electronics at that time.

I am a big fan of HD. To be very honest i think it's a very ugly looking bike (the looks of the bike doesn't go well with HD),i don't know what was going on with HD when they hired the designer of that bike .They just could have made bike look like sportster.

Not a huge fan of the looks of those bikes but performance is great on them not suprized there 750 motor made across seas outperforms their 1200 cc american made sportster
