RachhLoves My fave (from what I've tried so far) is their lip lacquer in Burgundy. Such a lovey dark color. 💙 Oh! And their Tinted Lip Balm. It has a smell, but it looks and feels amazing, and stays pretty well!

I looooove their gentle peeling exfoliant. I know it’s skincare and not makeup but it makes your skin so soft and it doesn’t sting or anything. It grabs the dry skin proteins and makes little balls of dead skin so it’s sort of gross but it’s so worth it. My foundation goes on so much better when I remember to use it!

I'd love to see a realistic no makeup makeup day look. Sometimes influencers use so many products it's not realistic. I want a "just showered after the gym and want to spend 10 mins tops on makeup to look nice but not 'made up' tutorial".

The baked highlighters have a protective layer on top so that the highlighter doesn’t break during transportation, not because it is baked.

I’ve heard (can’t confirm, I’m part of Team Hooded Eyes Can’t Do a Wing for Nothing team) you need to go straight out vs angling the wing up to the brow. Again, my skill level has not made this possible but I’ve watched some vids haha.

I don't know that I'd call her's hooded.. or even partly hooded, though. When her eyes are completely opened you can see her whole mobile lid from inner tear duct to outer corner.

The pencil liners can work really well if you first heat the tip with the hot water / lighter trick. I typically hold mine under hot water for a few seconds, pat them dry, and then use them. The pencils become so creamy. The longevity of the product may have been affected since you did multiple layers with the pencil in its original (much too rough) form. This trick also works really well for the 99¢ Wet'N'Wild liners as well!

Elf is my fav! Thanks for finally reviewing their line! The gel liner is the best eye liner I’ve ever used. Even though it’s so creamy it like never transfers to my lid! And I agree, their shadows are amazing!

I'm with you on the elf Milton eyeshadow. I've tried them so many times and never liked the outcome! Always had to layer it under my morphe shadows and just didn't seem worth it.. it is now in my bathroom drawer drying out as we speak... so happy to hear I wasn't alone!!

I love the molten liquid eyeshadows! They are great to use as a base and then apply a glitter on top! It keeps it in place all day and even adds an extra wow factor. I found it works the best if you apply it with a brush instead! RachhLoves I love your videos! Keep up the amazing work!

I’ve worn it for years. Occasionally, I get a watery one. I just let it sit for a few weeks and it’s okay. But it takes far longer than my revlon or stila eyeliners to dry down.

Hi Rachel I just had that problem with the Molten Eyeshadow and the Gel Eyeliners. I threw the shadow in my “crap draw”. It’s the draw of makeup I let my nieces use to play dress up. As for the liner it makes the best eyeshadow base or one and done look. (Especially the purple shade). Thanks for taking the time to review ELF as most of my collection consists of ELF products..

I have the mineral pearls and I love them! I have a darker skin tone so that might be why it shows up more on me, but it gives a pretty pinkish and super natural glow. I use the e.l.f. mineral powder brush to apply it and the pearls never get stuck.

I use the teal gel eyeliner as a shadow a lot, and I find it works better when I put a translucent powder over it to set it, but it's like a really nice color to use as a cream eyeshadow

Our sunsets and sunrises are pretty much the same as New York's. If it's overcast outside tho, it can certainly look darker outside around 3pm because the sun is getting lower then.

My home province has declared a state of emergency on it's west coast because they had snow and then it melted with warm weather right in the midst of winter. Canada is huge (2nd largest country in the world) and we get really different weather from coast to coast to coast. In British Columbia, they'll soon see crocus, daffodils and tulips poking up. Come this summer in Ontario, we'll have heat waves and it'll be gross because of the heat and humidity. Yuck. It's extremes here in Ontario...lol

I LOVE the Hydrating Gel Melt Cleanser! I wasn't into double-cleanses until I used this as my first cleanse, and it does an amazing job of removing makeup (even the liquid lipsticks that I'm convinced will stay on long after my death).

I use the moonlight pearl highlight and I like it. I'm very pale so I worry about highlights making me look even paler, but it adds a nice warmth to my skin and a subtle glow :)

I actually like the ELF pencils with sharpeners built in! My mum got me the glitter ones for Christmas -- she knows I love anything with glitter, lol -- and while they 100% do not work on the tightline, I really like them on the eyelid and the lower lash line! They smudge out well and they stay put really nicely. Love you, Rachel!

I have definitely had a few hit and misses with ELF in the past, BUT my absolute go to bronzer/contour powder is their Studio Cool Bronzer - it's honestly my holy grail!

for the bead like power. I have the same one in the color correcting what you should do is take out the sponge it comes with and shake the container that will give you more product. Hope this helps!

I actually really like the gel liners but I use them for more of a pop of color with a thin line instead of a bold wing. Elf has some really hit or miss products. I love hearing what works for everyone!

For the baked highlighters I actually grind them down and out them in another container so I can use them as loose highlighters and I find that they're more reflective and less chunky looking when they're like that It's amazing and I advise everyone else to do the same if your Elf baked highlighter doesn't excite you much

I agree! The molten liquid eyeshadows were not my favorite. :/ I was really disappointed because the colors I bought are really pretty before you blend it out. And they take a long time to dry on the eyelid.
