I’ve also been doing well with small to medium sized kitchen appliances/gadgets. Bread machines, NuWaves, larger George Forman type grills sell well for a decent profit…..

I really enjoy your concise presentation. Your wife (or you) might enjoy watching The Paper Castle videos on KZbin. It’s how I learned about Villeroy & Boch (I’m left coast so there’s less of it here). Heather’s channel is based mostly on rummage sales and she usually updates with sold prices. She does a lot of holiday, beauty, craft kits, high end items she finds in the New Jersey area.

Great sales! I just learned that the data format on your video is from your app, Flipwise! Have you done a video reviewing the features of how the app works and what the monthly cost will be?. I like the prosopect of ditching my spreadsheet(which is old school, paper and pen method in a binder lol)! At the end of the year, can it calculate the total year of cogs, sales for doing taxes?
@justinresells9 ай бұрын
You can see an overview of the features/functionality here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z36QeINpd99sjaM Monthly cost is TBD but it will be reasonable. Yep it calculates everything you need for taxes.

I literally found a Nuwave Infrared Oven Pro Plus the day after I saw this video. It's used but repacked into the original box with wrapping, recipe card, and manual. I paid up for it @ $20. Would you piece this out or sell it as a whole? Trying to move it quickly. Thanks!!
@terrigeorge42799 ай бұрын
Re the Spunkmeyer - shipping IS a PAIN on these types of items, but at least your ROI is high. I would personally BUILD the box using parts I have. Tape 2 together, 3 - whatever. If it's well padded it actually works better than making the item fit the box. But it is ALSO time-consuming and a pain to do. Running to multiple stores and spending more just doesn't seem like a better alternative to me. This is why I always SAY I am not going to flip these items. Then I watch guys like you who make a bundle on them and I do it and curse your name the whole time! 😂😂😂 J.K. - you even said not sure if it's worth it.
@do-it-yourself-skills9 ай бұрын
After watching this video when you first posted it, I saw a Nuwave infrared oven at a thrift store for $30. I didn't get it because although it was brand new (but no box), the top was red and the bottom was blue. It looked like two different ovens were bought as parts and combined to make one complete one. Now I wonder if I should go back and see if it is still there and buy it to sell as parts.

Thank you Justin for your informative videos. I'm somewhat new at selling and do take your advise on a lot of things, so again thank you. Could you please suggest how I can find the value of an item when there are no comps on Ebay. I've also used Google lens... I find similar but not the actual item. Normally I would just charge an average of the like comps, however this item's comps are very high and I don't want to list at a high price if it's a fake. Thank you in advance ~ Donna ~

You can use Terapeak to see eBay history going back two years. My eBay -> Research. If you still find nothing there, Worthpoint has eBay history going back even further, but you have to pay for access. Beyond that if there is no data you may just be out of luck and need to guess!

Love the magic deck sale you made thats insane, i know this is an older video of yours now. Ive selling on ebay now for 2-3 months and i do list a few things here and there from the thrift store but ive mostly sell magic cards. Im interested in using flipwise i just have not looked into it, i dont really make big gains from magic cards but i can get good cards for .10 each an i only buy them if i know theyre worth 1$ plus, then i sell them for there TCGplayer market price plus 1.12$ shipping. I use the ebay standard envolope method so i dont have to sync money into stamps

Calculated shipping : On ebay you take measurements of the size of the box your going to ship an item in and input weight including what ever packaging like bubble wrap your going to use into your listing and then ebay does the work on what it cost depending on the buyers zip code. It's all automated. After you do it a few times you can kind of guess or round up on the packaging.😊
@justinresells9 ай бұрын
yeah i mention why i don’t use calculated shipping in the video :)
@tonycannizzo13379 ай бұрын
My 2 cents on using calculated shipping. After trying different locations I felt were furthest from me, I was able to determine what zip code would be the highest shipping from my location. Now when I have a heavier item I use that zip code to determine approximately the highest shipping cost. I then look at the discounted eBay shipping rates for USPS and UPS. Finally I take the lowest shipping cost and simply charge that as a flat shipping charge. Works every time and you never lose any money on shipping. Hope that helps someone.
