Mad gab is a great game to pick up for Amazon if you can get it cheap. Almost always $20 or more. Right now lowest price collectible is $29.99. Always enjoy your videos!

The old PC games were the best. MYST and the Chex Quest game from the cereal were my childhood haha. Also i remember Rolie Polie Olie! My little sister watched that one! Great video

I was in my bedroom and I walked to the living room and the Travel Channel was on specifically Paranormal Caught on Camera TV series and the episode that was on was the "Haunted Connecticut Thrift Store and More" episode. Saw the episode 4 years later after it aired.

This thrift definitely has quite a lot of bikes. Interesting to see. My local goodwill, I believe the one worker scans the video games so, most games are 7.99 and each time I’ve been there the ones that are there aren’t worth picking up. 😢 but, you had a good trip.

Hey Thriftschool, I have a question. I bought a Bose radio for $25. The only problems are that the price was written on it with marker and it has no remote. Do you think I should have bought it? Also, do you think it will sell for good money?
@jaidentslgl275318 күн бұрын
What model is the Bose radio?
@ThriftSchool18 күн бұрын
it really depends on the model. the sharpie can be taken off by writing over the sharpie with a dry erase marker and then wiping off with a paper towel, just keep repeating until its mostly off.
@dannyphantom746118 күн бұрын
How do I check the model?
@jaidentslgl275318 күн бұрын
@ The back of the box or maybe a google lens should do
@dannyphantom746118 күн бұрын

Hey, I need help. If my board game is brand new sealed but has a crease in the box to harm the appearance. Can I sell as new or does it have to be used since the appearance is messed up?
@ThriftSchool18 күн бұрын
Depends on how bad the crease is. If boxes have wear/tear, I usually list them as used. if the crease isnt terrible I sometimes still list as new.
@joanclark572318 күн бұрын
Unfortunately, most games, unless they are sealed, are not complete. Open boxes take more time than they are worth

I had my first shipment on Amazon ordered and my carrier hasn't picked up my shipment yet, what should I do? Have you ever faced this situation with the Partnered Carrier Program before going with UPS?
@ThriftSchool18 күн бұрын
You sold something via FBM? or are you talking about a big FBA Shipment. I always drop both of those options off at UPS and they scan it while Im there.
@jaidentslgl275318 күн бұрын
@@ThriftSchool I'm talking about FBA. I booked this via Amazon PCP as an FBA shipment which I was supposed to have my shipment picked up by Australia Post (but its subcontracted to a bad courier from AusPost)

Sourcing in Connecticut is still very difficult for ThriftSchool. However certain categories of goods are just very well priced. Clothing is very expensive in CT, $10 USD + tax for a button up shirt from Goodwill. $13 USD + tax for a button up shirt from Red White and Blue, and $7-$17 for a button up shirt from Savers (the better the brand the more expensive but not so good shirts from Savers are still dearer than from Goodwill or RWB)

It’s one thing to be a reseller but why are so many of you encouraging children to become resellers? Why not get a job that actually contributes something positive to society and encourage that?
