This was a great idea for a video! Very helpful for people to know what are the best plants to buy, especially if someone is new to plants and wants to avoid the drama!

As a new collector, thank you for a practical and honest view of the plants. I love alocasia, but I will hold off until I have a dedicated place for them, like an enclosed cabinet.

Great video. I would say ivy are pretty much more of an outdoor plant. I have tried them indoors and no luck. Outside, especially in the uk were it always cold and wet, they grow crazy and pest free.

I’m glad that I’m not the only one that struggles either that dang cebu blue!😂 I have yet another one actively dying in my house right now, shameful and frustrating!😂😂😂

All smiles keep smiling. I believe in the plant world their are certain plants cultivated to keep us humble. Cebu blue, birkin, and I personally can't grow a tetrasperma lol 😂😂😂😂. Its ok side step and keep growing

The secret is to have plants in semi hydro. You can have calatheas, alocasias and everything you want if you transition them to semi hydro and give them enough light.

Bonjour 😊Les coléus, si séduisants par leurs couleurs, ne sont pas des plantes d'intérieur. Il peut prospèrer à l'extérieur, ou en serre froide. 🍀

I stay away from gardenia (although I love this plant) impossible to grow indoors, especially during the winter, in my opinion

Definitely an outdoor plant. My grandmothers favorite flower. 🌸

Philodendrons, prayer plants and jades are my faves. I like my caletha mosaic but its fussy like you I wouldn't recommend 🙂 Oh peace Lily is my least favorite plant 1. because it's the first plant on my allergies test. 2. They remind me of being at a funeral.😂

We’re just the opposite. My Cebu Blue grows like crazy. The only issue is that it gets leggy when it grows away from the light. My Baltic Blue has me on the struggle bus regularly! I’ve tried everything to get it to thrive and nothing is working. My N’Joy is a mutant.

So interesting how we each have unique experiences with our plants. I love it!

I’ve said good bye to all calathea, prayer plants, ferns, succulents except the string of’s, and fill my house with philodendron, alocasia, pothos, scindapsus, Hoya, dracaena, Sansevieria, ZZ’s and orchids.
