Tip … if l buy fake florals and the leaves look very green and very fake … l always get my watercolours out and paint them with browns / dark greens and sometimes l also paint the flowers as well … it makes such a difference 🤗🐨🇦🇺

TFS this great idea! I like to shake things up by spray painting my faux florals with different colors against silver and gold metallics. This gives the metallics more depth instead just straight silver or gold. Learned this trick from Lulu Sapphire here on KZbin😊

My plastic green ferns look very realistic in my concrete grecian urn planters on either side of my front door step. I stuck them in there because I was busy and things had died in the planters, but hey it looks good

I often will see a great lamp in Home Sense with an ugly shade. In Canada, the shade is attached to the lamp base, so removing it before the cart is impossible. There must have been a lot of shade switching in the past.

I use faux florals all the time but I cut the stems to length and actually put water in the vase and have had many people ask where I picked them! I tend to use "snowball bush" types bc I found some really good looking ones at hobby lobby :)

Sorry, I will never buy feather or down pillows. You can get the same softness of a pillow without feathers that have been plucked from a chicken, etc. You have some great ideas on other things, but I’m sorry. I’m just not into the feather pillows. I know some people are gonna say , we bet you were leather shoes. I’m not a fanatic, but I do wish that we would not have to harm animals to be stylish or have wonderful decor.
