Hi, Firstly, thanks a lot for this video! As someone looking to buy a house now, I tried using these calculations in my situation as well. But, I am left with a doubt... As per your video, I am left with 15,743,750 worth of investments after 15 years, if I rented a house. However, if i were to buy a house today and then sell the house after 15 years, I would be left with approx 17,974,186 in cash.... which is still a greater amount by 22 lakhs. Is that not better in ANY scenario? If I were to rent a house, I would be putting the downpayment and monthly EMI savings into investments, so every penny that could have been used in buying a house is anyways accounted for in the investments.

You said 36000 is the amount saved from paying emi vs Rent. This amount will decrease over the year when the rent increases. The rent may even become negative. Did you consider this as well?
