Code correct Mulsanne Blue exterior, code correct Blue vinyl interior. Numbers matching 350hp 350ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission, posi rear-end. This absolutely gorgeous, heavily optioned, and documented 1970 Corvette is a real eye catcher, and will certainly please the C3 enthusiast looking for a great balance of comfort, convenience, rarity, and performance options. Assembled on January 9, 1970, this Corvette wears very nice paint, which looks to be a few years old, showing a very nice shine. Original chrome bumpers are in good condition with no dings or rust, and the original taillights are in fair condition. Weatherstripping looks to be newer, and is in very good condition. All glass with the exception of the windshield shows a correct date code. Original exterior door handles show strong return springs and a good condition finish. One of the most unusual things about this car is its original set of wheel covers. Although not an uncommon option when these cars were new, very few of these wheel covers have survived today. These particular wheel covers are in fair condition, showing some corrosion on the fins, and faded centers. Nonetheless, if the buyer of this car prefers the standard trim rings and center caps on rally wheels, we will provide the reproduction parts and installation at no extra cost. Tires are Goodyear Wingfoot HP raised white letter, and show 7/32nds tread remaining. The interior of this 1970 Corvette shows recent carpet and seat covers in very good condition, as well as very good door panels, gauges, and dash pad. Center console is in good condition; aftermarket steering wheel is in good condition as well. Fiber optics system works, as well as the clock at the time of this writeup. A Custom Auto Sound cassette stereo has replaced the original AM/FM radio with no cuts made to the dash. An auxiliary input has been installed as well, allowing direct connection of an iPod or anything else that has a headphone jack. A 4-in-1 universal speaker box has been added as well, and t-top bags are also present. The engine compartment in this 1970 Corvette shows a correct intake, and ignition shielding is in place as well. The engine itself shows casting date December 17, 1969, and assembly date January 6, 1970. This 1970 Corvette comes with an original owner's manual in the original plastic sleeve, original protect-o-plate, brochure, title from 1977, and most importantly, the ORIGINAL bill of sale listing the car's options as air conditioning, power steering, wheel covers, 4 speed, power windows, 350hp, F70 whitewall tires, and AM/FM radio. As many of these are rare options, this bill of sale is nearly as good as a tank sticker when it comes to documentation. 350hp, 4 speed, power windows, and air conditioning are rarely found on a 1970 Corvette, much less when they're all on the same car -- this one surely won't be in our showroom for long so call us now! Factory features include air conditioning, 350hp engine, 4 speed manual transmission, power windows, power steering, wheel covers, AM/FM radio. FREE 2 YEAR/50K ADDITIONAL MILE WARRANTY, GOOD AT ANY REPAIR FACILITY NATIONWIDE!!

That custom steering wheel might be more " comfortable" and less slippery than the original but unfortunetly it " kills" the perfect look of that rare beauty

My apologies for not getting back sooner -- I am off Sundays and Mondays. Jody is off today, but I will forward this to him. We don't currently have any videos showing how to remove a hardtop on a 1968-75 car, but I will mention to him that we had a request for one. In the meantime, google "how to remove hardtop 1968 corvette". The first result is a very detailed thread on Corvette Forum with factory diagrams and such.

I had almost identical 1970 350/350 4 spd from 1972 -1978. Same colors. Same wheels. Mine did not have a/c so finally sold it. Wish I still had it now. Would love to have this one.

That year is my long term goal. I currently have a 79 which I'm gonna swap out the tail end with the 1980 tail end because i like it better. Should keep me entertained until I am able to find a nice 70 vette. At 23 yrs old, i can't complain.

Please do Not Cut up the Vett, sell it to someone that wants it and then get what you want. Have you ever looked up the Numbers on the Vett. Often people that do not Know Corvettes by the Numbers end up with a Number Matching Car that just could be of some Significant value to You or someone else or you cut it up only to find out Years Later you actually had one of one, then you will be Kicking your Self over and Over again. I say this because I know, I am thankful it was not a Corvette But it was a 1970 RT Challenger 440 Tri-Power Pistol Grip with 410 gears and it was 1 of 1 In Color, Console, White Vinyl Top with white interior also had a Plane white Gas Cap, Anyway it was 1 of 1. some where around 2005,6,7,or 8 one like it with out the Console and Gas Cap sold for $ 500,000. I did not Cut this Challenger up but I did the next worst thing I traded it off on a 1974 Camaro Plain Jane 350 2 BBL Carb With a 3 Speed and Consul From the Factory, Brand new Camaro and it drove and shifted like a Corvette may be Better. Well what has always made me Sick about the Trade to a Dealer was I only got $ 1.200 for the Challenger and if I knew what I now Know. Anyway do not cut on it until you know for sure it is Worthless to you But then again there May be Someone else that might want to add to there Collection of Vetts and you just might have the Vett they are looking for, Years from now you will see what I mean if you don't already. I Buy and Build or Restore 1962 through 1972 Corvettes All must be Number Matching and then I sell them to People in Europe, Austria and Switzerland. Have a Great Day No Matter what you do just have Fun and Study the Corvette there are so many thing you will learn about Cars of all Kings not Just Corvettes but it Is in My opinion the Best place to Start if you Like Classic Cars. Have a Great Day.

@JAMESS30288 Yes it would -- but nonetheless, we'll settle for a 350 horse. Glad you like the wheels, I'm a big fan of them myself. Just got a '71 LS5 454 coupe in with them as well.

boy one of those with a 6spd. would be great. then you could really ring every little bit of power from those engines. I just got back my 1980, and i'm thinking about it would be a few grand. but worth it I think.

@@buyavettedotnet that's awesome! I've always heard the side pipe cars have a different sound to them, I guess it was with the type of exhaust piping and baffles in the muffler used. makes the exhaust more loud and roudy from what I've read!
