If you don't use the car as a daily driver then it's worth it. They are enthusiast cars only. Great to drive but really shit to own.

@@livenowhere They break and break often. I had a 2013 MK6 GTI that broke once a month and some expensive repairs too. VWs are money pits especially as they age. I wouldn't own one out of warranty or as a daily driver, big risk. The stealerships are deceitful pricks that will constantly lie to you. VW, themselves, are worse. If you have a cheap and honest mechanic, you don't mind being without your car on a regular basis, then knock yourself out.
