First thing first. That's not a 91. H1's weren't produced until the '92 model year and that's a definite H1. Also those wheels aren't the proper weight rating/offset for the platform which means that you're killing the ball joints and steering components running those - plus the ride probably sucks because of them. WTF put it in neutral to start it lol. You don't need to do that shit. If you have to do that then your transmission is broken. And I like how you didn't wait for the plugs to warm up when you jumped in for your test drive. Even if the block was warm they should cycle. Please don't get near any more H1's - there are less than 5000 left domestically and you're in the process of killing one of them.

there is a light and storage and a fire... but what's the point? you describe what we see as well, what's the concept? I see a huge box, not mentioned how high, wide. can one stand in it? But adding that box is just for storage, as one cannot sleep in it and therefore needs a tent on top, non isolated. I don't get it. A pickup can do the same, had lots of storage and on a rack be able to fit a tent. Plus: It is wayyyy easier to follow what YOU see if you do NOT point the can on everything fullscreenview. Just place the cam on a tripot outside the rig and walk inside.

@@MotorFeed again. Not true. DEA never deployed humvees on the border. DEA is prohibited to participate, in most cases, in the military program “Defense Logistics Agency” in which supply humvees to law enforcement. Second, DEA prohibits purchase of high end vehicles for fleet purposes. Most DEA swat vehicles are panel vans or retired donated ambulances. Vehicles over $100,00 are considered special purpose vehicles and require hq signature of approval. Thirdly, DEA doesn’t have any Special Ops program. It’s a wishful story. I bet the seller also said it was all highway miles and garages at granny’s house. I’m a 1,000 % sure on my actual department of justices sources that work on the border than a Carmax ad. Vehicles over $100,00 are considered special purpose vehicles and require hq signature of approval. Thirdly, DEA doesn’t have any Special Ops program. The closet thing is the Special Response Team (their version of SWAT). That wasn’t formalized until 2016. Lastly, the unofficial standard color of special purpose vehicles is white. This would include SRT raid vans, clan lab trucks and panel vans. This hummer was made before that happened. It’s a wishful story. I bet the seller also said it was all highway miles and garages at granny’s house. I’m a 1,000 % sure on my actual department of justices sources that work on the border than a Carmax ad. Not hating on your nice find but it probably came from a local law enforcement department that seized it as a hummer and converted it or had the cash to buy it direct. I only write this because it annoys me that people put this out their as “living truth” with no documentation and it creates a misperception for the public.

Hands down this is absolutely the best utility off road conversion ever built because the entire platform with modifications sets a datum, a precedent, to measure and challenge roll stability. The ground clearance and roll stability of this utility vehicle are in a class by and of itself. At 125k it is priceless. Cheers.
