I actually still have an iPod touch 1st generation that is actually still on iOS 1.1.5 from early part of 2008 and that was still before the App Store even existed. With it today, I can connect to Wifi and do very basic Google searches, but beyond that for Internet use, that really about it, can't really do much, however, I still keep it as a collector item.

The plastic piece at 5:15 is a stand. It came with my 1st gen iPod touch. I never used it. I sold my model to a used bookstore a few years ago. Great video and channel!

I still have my original 1st gen 32gb, screen is damaged from a cube came or something (was that way since I had it, fixed some of it with pressure, but not all). It still works great. And I still have a 2nd gen 32gb

Yes. Was always slightly underpowered and slightly worse specs than the corresponding iPhone model released that year. But it was the closest you could get to an iPhone without having a iPhone. Newer models had FaceTime, iMessage, pretty much any iPhone app. Really only missing cellular capabilities & an earpiece in the newer models. Think of it as a iPhone sized WiFi only iPad

You are wrong about it raising the cost to the rest of us by using the free material, it’s free becuse it’s already paid for not the other way around, anything freely provided by gov, is paid for already, includes assistance as well. If you pay taxes you contributed to them being free, use them! Like i said, they are already paid for it’s not a charity they aren’t going to rely on you coming back to pay later with services that are completely optional to use. Also, if that was a point leakage that obvious, that would been figured our decades ago..
