Let me tell you as a 06 Pontiac G6 owner, these cars are underrated! Iv had mine for yrs never needed anything but a new battery oil changes and the AC motor! Its a very dependable car good on gas and if you take care of all the required maintenance it will last a long time! Im actually repainting mine black this summer and will continue to fix what ever she needs! PPL will always have their own opinion but im telling you from my own personal experiences! Its awesome car! 😊

Would you recommend driving it across the country? 🤔 Cause I wanna buy one but I'll have to drive it across the country

I have a white ‘07 G6 with the 3.5/automatic that my friend and I just got started again after it sat for near 7 years and we worked on it for a couple months. Needs new exhaust brackets/couplings and new power steering lines that we are taking care of, but it sounds beautiful! Love this car. Brought my kids home from the hospital with it, and I’ll never get rid of it.🤞🏼🙏🏼

I have a 2007 Pontiac g6 gt 3.9 convertible i haven't had a lick of trouble with it. I've owned it for about four years now with regular maintenance it runs strong. I'm really happy with it.

I have a 2006 GTP 3.9 convertible and I've had it for a couple years, it's got 236k miles and still runs strong. I've had to do some work to it but not a whole lot. It really is a nice vehicle

Congratulations. New thermostat, throttle body cleaning, might help. Also, I would suggest you add a bottle of catalytic converter cleaning to you fuel. I have a 2007 G6 standard transmission and it was the solution. By the way, your G6 looks good.

Those 60 degree late model GM V6’s (3.1,3.4,3.5) don’t usually survive being overheated to 260 degrees plus more than once or twice without needing the heads pulled and sent out to be surfaced and a new set of top end gaskets.

I have the same car but 09. More updated and it's been very faithful for me. I've had to put some work into it but it's one my favorite vehicles I've ever owned. If it's a 3.5 v6, you take care of them the engine will last a long time. They're somewhat easy to work on and mostly everything but the thermostat is easy to repair. Def worth the $.

Thanks for the comment and for watching! I was able to get this one fixed - there’s another video on that, it needed a new crankshaft position sensor. It ran good once the check engine lights were all resolved! 😎👍🏻

Yeah mine always reads right below the 225. My coolant crossover was the culprit for getting hot all the time. The gasket if I may clarify. I got 217k on mine. And it's been good for over 2 yrs now. They are known for that on 07 and up models

How's the car looking now ? I have the exact same car 08 For 5 years now and it's been very dependable, I paid 1,800 In 2018 and it was worth every penny

How much mileage does the car last ? Is it reliable ?
@alreadyblack3341 Жыл бұрын
@@ImtiLoCc Mines going on 208k miles, got it in 2020 at 184k. So far it's been fairly reliable sans the wheel studs coming off one time.

Positive ground??? 😅 Negative should never burn on the hood. We sold a 01 Bonneville with key program faults passkey 3 mega fail. The dealer probably could have bypassed it. $200 and my family wouldn't let me do much with it. I'll never sell a Toyota though. Cold dead hand vehicles.
@EATSLEEPFARM Жыл бұрын
🤣 i came here to say the same thing. Ive never heard of a ground cable shorting out to the body of the car. If it is you need to find out why there is 12 volts running through your hood lol

Why the hell would you buy a car and drive a car overheating and just think that’s ok? You never overheat it blows the head gasket!!

I like your content. The Pontiac g6 and vibe are diffent. The vibe is made by Toyota. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/NUMMI
