Nice post. I did the same in August. Bought a 2016 GSA loaded with the best aftermarket equipment including the mosko soft panniers and duffle, SW motech large and micro tank bags. And Denali lights all around. 9,600 miles of 3 BDR’s it took a small beating. Including both cylinder protection covers cracked. Heads are fine though. I just rebuild and restored the bike a process that is fun for me. Looks awesome and runs great. The guy wanted $14,995. I payed $13,750. For $20k more I could own a 1300 GSA. But I absolutely love the 1200 style and performance. A steal if you ask me. Best of luck with your GS. 🎉

Thanks. I love the bike. I HIGHLY recommend a pre-purchase inspection. I do like my bike but I have had to do some unexpected repairs that have really run up the cost of the bike. Namely a new suspension. I'm working on a video for that story, but the moral is....get a pre-purchase inspection. Good luck finding the bike for you!

Nice video. Very thorough. I don't think the HEX controller is related to the TPMS. I have a 2016 and after a recent tire change both TPMS are of by about 8 PSI. I think they need to be replaced. I had to change TPMS on 10 year old car recently....I think it's a lifetime issue. Curious to see what you find!

Hi. Thanks for watching. Since the time that I have recorded this I have removed the auxiliary lights AND the Hex EX Can. At the moment, the TPMS is working correctly now. I am NOT convinced it was the Hex EZ Can but at the moment the TPMS works and the Hex EZ Can is uninstalled, but that might just be coincidence. I'll likely reinstall the Hex EZ Can at some point to see if it returns the TPMS to its inaccurate state or if it was just a fluke.
