It's refreshing how up front you are about the costing. Ferrari are incredibly secretive about that sort of thing. 5-8 months is also an amazing turnaround for a Lamborghini. I waited 5 months for a new-build Focus ST a few years back.

Greeting Heather how are you. I hope all is well. My close friend test drove the Mclaren 570 S and his verdict was it felt like a Toyota Corolla no guts. He had the car for a day. He returned it with in 1 hour. His problem is his matching the power of his Porsche 996 GT2 which excellerates so VILLANTLY its like being punched in the stomach each gear change. I have been in his brother Matt black AVENTADORE and its fare quicker bye 5-7 car lenghts. I have been in his Porsche GT2 and I felt like throwing up thats how fare the G-force pushes your stomach into the car seat. Its the most powerful car I have ever been in. Heather did you know Lamborghini is going turbo charged DUE to ever increasing Emission laws. God Bless

Yes it's a great gig, and I meet all sorts of interesting clients as well. Basically you should gain experience where ever you can. My start was with Tesla. Learn how to close and obviously you need to excel with your sales numbers so that a super luxe brand will hear about you and or when you apply you'll have the expertise to back yourself up. It's not easy but you can do it!

Nuno Rosário I'm pretty sure they let you know early if your a customer, basically so you can try and get the car before anyone else ( as a benefit to being a customer )

Basically they let your sales rep know so it pays to be a longterm and loyal customer because you find out about things before the public. I reach out to my current clients sometimes a year or two in advance. However, fortunately with Lamborghini there is no funny business, it's first come first serve. They are very fair.
