I didn’t read the other comments but as for the hemi tick. There are two possibilities: 1 the lifters get worn and get stuck which then damages the cam shaft. To fix this issue install non MSD lifters and install a better cam. 2 issue is the header bolts will break because Dodge uses cast iron headers and the bolts are aluminum. The heat is the main issue. Install ARP studs and then go with either shorty headers (not BBK lots of failures since COVID) or long tube headers.

The P0456 could be the seal around the fuel pump or the transfer pump. They use a green seal that is known to go bad. Or the plastic line from the tank to the charcoal canister could have a crack or leak. You will need to do a smoke test to see where the leak is. The coolant temp sensor is also know to go bad on the 3rd gen Hemi’s and is down by the alternator on the passenger side of the front of the engine. Or it could have had a water pump, cooling fan go bad and overheat. I would see if either of those are new and go from there.

@Atlanticbeachcustoms if you do the timing kit, here's a tip, once you have your timing set on the cam and crank, zip tie all the tension out on the chain, out on your chain guide, oil pump, and tensioner, tighten only the top bolt on the tensioner, cut the zip tie, then you'll be able to bolt on the final bolt on the bottom of the tensioner, once you have it torqued down, pull the pin on the tensioner, and your done, put the timing cover back on and you're good to go 💪🏽

@@AtlanticbeachcustomsI disagree. I never understood carpet in a car. The first thing people do is install mats to cover and protect it. Just keep the vinyl floor and save yourself the headache of pulling the mats and vacuuming and putting the mats back. You'll also save yourself the inevitable need to shampoo the carpets later. Nobody looks at the floor so instead of spending money on carpet that your are going to cover with mats, build up the rest of the interior. Maybe buy the better looking consumer console, get a new steering wheel, new headliner, Atoto Carplay head unit, etc. Don't know what the full carpet set costs but I'll bet it goes a long way towards buying better seats than those base seats cop cars have. So many other interior bits that will reward you more than the carpets.

I would recommend replacing the oil pump with a milling's high volume oil pump that will eliminate or prevent your tick in the future. I got mine. It had a 142000 miles on it and I was running MOA oil additive and at 280000 miles. The cam and lifter failed on number 8 cylinder. Just getting the thing rebuilt but i've heard about the milling's oil pump. The company I work 4 get about 60000 miles out of their engine. Before the camera lifter fails, we do.The lotta idle time. The question I have is what do you plan on doing with that center council. I wouldn't mind having one. Between Cheyenne and Fort Collins. I normally get about 25 miles to a gallon.
