Watch where it all started here: kzbin.info/aero/PLrjcRnN9A9LUAd82s6ysfCeMcnLyThZp5 So uhh... was anyone keeping track of how much this stuff is worth? PLEASE. If you're knowledgeable in any of these things discussed in this video, drop some education here in the comments! I'd love to continue to learn. (Model trains, cars, planes, rockets, marbles, pressed steel toys, wooden clocks, matchbox cars, slot cars, vintage advertisements, old bb guns, and anything else you think is important, there's a ton lol)

I used to sell on ebay back in the 90s. I would always put auctions at 1 cent and set them to last as long as possible. Things have changed a lot since then but this had the advantage of having the lowest fees and the low price would cause many to bid early and I think fomo kept many coming back. Not sure how applicable this is any longer but I wonder if making small lots and setting them to 1 cent would work for you saving you the trouble of knowing what things are worth and letting the customers tell you by having them compete against one another.

Chase and Skyler, I spent many an hour at Ron's store in Richmond. When I say it was packed to the gills, I am not kidding. You could barely walk through the store because there was stuff all over the place. I was one of the few people he ever let go downstairs at the store. The basement of the store was packed even more than the main floor. He had stuff stacked from the floor to the ceiling with only two small aisles to walk down. It was amazing! I am so happy that you guys are able to purchase his remaining inventory! Ron could not ask for better people to work with!

I have learned a lot from both your channels so I want to thank you for that. Today's vlog was one of my favorite episodes when you gave Ron that coin. He seemed almost emotional with joy and your kindness. I hope you cherish that memory and it stays with you till the end. Ron to me comes across as a man that does not show that kind of emotion but it almost came out on this video. I have always respected you but that of what you did brought a new respect for you, at least from my view. You are a good soul and your parents brought you right. I am 44 and don't see much hope in a lot of the younger generation but you and your crew are good people. It is nice seeing good people these years so again thank you and keep up the kindness and great vlogs.

17:00 Now, THAT is a REAL TOY --- precision-built from REAL METAL and MADE TO LAST! Well, and it DID last --- still looks almost new! Too bad we probably couldn't safely allow children to actually play with this lovely collection, though --- most likely every colored surface is coated with lead paint, and goodness knows how much trace presence of other nasties like arsenic, cadmium, or mercury might also be present somewhere in it's construction! Definitely a "look but don't touch" object here!

Wow! You probably already got back your investment on the Lionel trains alone...and THEN SOME...let alone all of the other fantastic stuff there! You hit the JACKPOT, bro!!! I miss going to hobby shops with my late dad back in the 70's. My dad was an extremely great flying model airplane builder starting way back in the 30s' as a kid! He belonged to a club called the Flying Aces, I believe but had to leave when he was drafted into the big WWII. He won many contests both for indoor and outdoor planes. He even had some sponsorship from companies like Perreli (spelling?) Rubber for testing their rubber bands that were used to power the planes and giving his opinion on. Glycerine and green soap were used to lube the rubber and make it last longer. I still have some of his stuff and even some photos of all the guys in his club WAY BACK then. Good times they were. REALLY GREAT times actually.....😕 PS: Prices for original G.I. Joe stuff was "THROUGH THE ROOF" some years ago! I am not sure what they are worth now, but if you have them with original packing and never touched.....😵😵👍👍!!!!!
