Do a engine/problems review. Line codes and anything else you detect. You can do severall vlogs fixing the problems. I believe it can be quite Nice and boost the channel a little bit more.

@@cgcars3427 yes a lot and I modded it but 23+k into it that's not including buying her but the people who had this car before me did not take care of my BMW before me.

@@cgcars3427 really you will always deal with water pump and thermostat but if taken care of its still a good car because of engine and trans my car now has 158000 k miles on engine and trans and she still puts out a lot but I love it but with these cars you will always need new parts.

I have had our 08 535XI for about 3 years now and love the car, but it does require more maintenance than any car I have ever owned. I just picked up an 09 535i recently because the price was right. It needs a little work, but boy are they fun to drive. I just recently found your channel and have subscribed.

i have had my 08 535 xi for over a year now with 140k miles now the previous owner was the first owner and he always got it serviced at bmw and has been maintained good. But sometimes it feels like the transmission is slipping gears or hiccups rough on shifts occasionally in sport mode or manual mode . Ive been doing lots of maintenance because im throwing on jb4 tune, intercooler, dual cone intakes, and charge pipe but i dont know if its worth keeping the car its just hard to sell because the hood and top has dents from hail damage.. any advice?

Man I wish I had sport seats in mine, but mine is Neptune blue with blue Dakota leather so very rare combo, surprisingly little wrong with it (so far) needs water pump and thermostat

Austin its a priority 1 option dealers can only order it for a specific customer who ordered it and can’t for lot cars, it’s a very rare interior color, same with Neptune blue metallic, in the US that is, Neptune blue is a regular color for the e60 in UK iirc

@@kookieless yeah no joke. I could only find a single picture of the blue interior! looks cool. It's like a dark navy right?..neptune blue is very different too, there was an e60 on bringatrailer a few months ago with it

Austin the interior is dark blue, Neptune blue is a very light blue, it’s sorta like the light blue on the new 8 series personally I don’t care it much for it, i like that it’s rare, but I think the light f30 m3/‘m4 is better,, love the dark blue interior though, wish more of the interior was blue like you see on some custom Bentleys like on Doug demure channel

Wish we had the 6 cylinder 2x turbo version of the E60 535i here in the UK. forum.bmw5.co.uk/topic/140409-e60e61-535i-n54-never-a-uk-factory-option-30l-i6-cylinder-twin-turbo/ Plus I like the wood over brushed ali myself. With a pre purchase code scan, at least you know mostly what you are getting into. Good luck.

@@codyroiland367 Well the KBB value and carfax values were closer to $12k. I got mine from a wholesaler, usually they sell to other dealers and sometimes to consumers, so prices are lower than usual. My boost solenoids were on their way out so I replaced those for a total of less than $200, replaced all the fluids and had the alignment checked and whatever else I could right away. So for less than $9k total I have a realllly sturdy 535xi with low miles. I'm quite happy.

@@michaelk4971 I picked mine up in Schaumberg, so real close to CHI. Usually I try not to buy cars from Chi or MKE but I couldn't help myself. All i could think was 3.0 twin turbo with 38k miles for way less than $10k. I was sold as long as the car didn't have major problems.

Yes absolutely I just got one at 150,000 miles 5000$ seatbelt airbag sensor in passenger seat was only problem. It’s a 2008 so not cosmetically perfect but not rust. Car feels like a bmw and is a 3.5 liter twin turbo. So long as the car is not broke or showing major computer codes, surely buy it. Then depending on how much money you have you can do what you can.

Man you don't know wtf u talking about. The e60 has more space and way better ride while only weighing 70lbs more than an equivalent e90 due to all the aluminum used in the front. If you want a smaller car get the e90 but it's no better and they have almost all of the same problems.... "so trash" OK lol
