Do it! Previously I owned a V7II, and now I have a V7 850. It's a step forward in quality, without loosing the Guzzi heritage.

It sure is! I couldn't agree with you more ! I am blessed to live within a 45 minute ride to the beach, desert or mountains and 11 months of the year is sunshine and warmth ! Motorcycling nirvana! Stay safe out there on 2 wheels!

Why did they just neglect that bike like this? There isn't that many things wrong with it and it all looks relatively easy to mend. We live in a throw away society, and I hate it.

It’s a long story but a tech at the dealership crashed the bike when it was in for a service, turns out the tech didn’t have a license….turned into a big can of insurance worms. Dealership ended up buying the bike from the owner and it sat untouched for 18mths until I bought it as a mechanics special fixer upper. Anyway hopefully my gamble will pay off ….. time will tell.
