Remember plz. With pets comes great responsibility. We got 5 Goldfish in 2011. 2 hour job to clean the tank once a month. The food ain't cheap neither! ;O Budgies are OK but don't stress them too much.. My Nana always had a Budgie. Don't get a Rabbit.. They get lonely so you need 2 and then you need to get them neutered or they fight. The bigger the pet the more maintenance! ;>/ Good luck with the Budgie..Do the research and it'll be happy!

@Winter hey, i do not recommend getting a pet until you have done at least a few weeks or month of research. You should know almost all there is to know and that cannot be really dont in 3 days.

Not telling you what to do but just wanted to say you don’t just use any disinfectant as normal disinfectant has chemicals in it that can cause harm to the bird. Always buy the pet shop one suitable for cage birds as it safely disinfects and stop bacteria from growing in its cage. If any disinfectant was safe then they wouldn’t be making animal safe ones

Step number one, don’t stress the bird out -cause they will die- I had two of them Until my birthday came My cousins hit the cage and made the birds upset

Lol they were so indecisive and couldn’t actually choose when they clearly said at the start they were gonna get a budgie LMAO and don’t get a rabbit because they have a lot of little droppings which flood the whole cage and they are not easy to train. I think the only person who is responsible here is probably you but please teach them good behaviour :)

Its an old wives tail, in practice budgies most of the time ignore mirrors, I got 2, blue one ignores it, Green one sometimes plays with it.

@@WalayatFamily Yeah I e had some in the past that loved mirrors . The ones I have now don't seem to care . The mirrors are tiny and on toys maybe that's why. I don't put big full mirrors in their cages . I'm afriad they would get obsessed with it .

@@WalayatFamily not really, she actually takes care of her birds very well and maybe you and your kids can learn the proper care on birds. Birds aren’t just something pretty to look at and they can’t just stay in the cage all day 24/7 I have a conure and the first day I got her she was so scared and timid, 5 months later she follows me everywhere and she lets me pet her head, it’s a great reward if you spend time with your pet everyday..it’s not just an accessory for your home…
