The holes in the hood are from the spike of the halligan bar. It’s one the easier ways to make a gap to get water under the hood. Source; Am fireman

@@djnone8137 as long as there were no leaks in the engine (oil fill cap, intake pipes, etc.) and the car wasnt running when they sprayed the water, i dont see how water could get inside an engine.

True that is the other thing that people really looked forward to as an option if you don’t go for the 10 speed automatic then you get the same tremec 6 speed in the gt350 which is a solid base to start with on that car paired with a whipple from Kong Performance you’d have yourself a sick street car

If you try the q50 vr30 swap keep in mind that you can’t control the throttle bodies so there will always be a lag in throttle response you’re also limited to ecutek as a tuning solution.

Nissan made a prototype Juke with a current GTR drivetrain, and suspension if memory serves. It was apparently a wild ride due to the short wheelbase.

Love your vids, crazy how some cars can be brought back from the brink of death! Just a word of caution to those who are feeling inspired and thinking about buying wrecked burnt cars to restore and/or part out, when handling burnt cars you want to be mindful when it comes to burnt carbon fibre/fibre glass. That dust and ash extremely unhealthy, some would even compare it to asbestos in terms of health hazard so... Might not want to go poking around in those wrecks too much, and be especially careful and wear adequate protection when you tear into the car itself and clean it out/rebuild. Stay safe y'all!

the damage on the hood of the GTR looks like it was done with a halligan bar by the fire department. they probubly used the bar to make a opening to spray water in the engine compartment.

2017 gtr comes with a titanium exhaust from factory, Visconti parts are good parts, Boost logic titanium exhaust is about $4500, Visconti fuel rails probably has Visconti fuel kit. I see the Zextronix content analyzer for ethanol content. Visconti fuel kit runs from front passenger to the rear. Visconti pumps are right underneath the passenger side back seat. Uses stock fuel basket.

surprised m3 totalled, def had to be bc of the carbon ceramic brakes. m2 and m3 have different engines but only bc of the different generations. that new m3 has the s58 and is a VERY fast car. closer to 550hp but runs with 700hp cars all day.

You have to pull the BMW hood latch twice to release... It says it on the release lever under the dash. there is no under hood secondary latch

Personally, I'd buy that wide body charger. Not for such as. Well. Cause it's a hellcat, it's because I want the drivetrain. To put into a 66 Charger. And then attempt to integrate a few items from the wide body charger into the 66 charger. Maybe like the widebody flares. And the seats, at least for the front. The back seats I'd keep stock. Depending on if it was a restoration, if I was restoring a 66 charger, almost everything from the widebody hellcat would go into the 66 charger. Utilizing as much as I can, making it kinda modern while keeping it old school

I was going to buy the Carly OBD2 reader but you need to sign up and pay for a membership to use all the features. I think it will only read engine codes without a membership. Now that is not bad I guess but I did some research and settled on the Blue-Driver one. It's about $100 and you get everything without paying any extra fees. Just a tip for anyone looking to buy one of these. Now if you have the money to spend, I am sure Carly is better, but if you don't have the money then look around.

Question guys, Bough my First car from Auction (Iaai). The car (2017 Accord) was listed and run and drive, just wear and tear and some lights on the dash. After a few days of diagnosing the car I notice it Had water damage, Probably from a flood. My question is: Do auction usually have to respond or do something when they do not list such a important information about the car? Like partial refund/Accept the car back etc

We're nuts now. 450HP isn't huge power anymore! I recall back in even 2012 450hp would have been HUGE power and monster torque! LOL. Now it's 1000HP or take your bat and ball and just go home. It's truly NUTS! LOL.
