Another fun episode, guys. As to the numbers, it may not be as bad as you think. The motor was presold, so the selling cost maybe should be 10% of $12K, not $31K. That's $2000 more profit. The same goes for the dead inventory charge. That shouldn't apply to the motor, just the $12K of parts - another $2000 of profit that wasn't calculated. So you can add $4000 to the profit, as far as I can tell. Maybe it's not on the Loser list after all and Carrington is out of the dog house!

As a life long Mustang owner, I would of liked to see the RTR fixed, that engine is beauty man. I am glad there are some videos coming about a Mustang rebuild. As long as there are curbs and/or heavy object that looks like people, there will be plenty to pick and fix.

Can’t kill it every time guys. Y’all are extremely good at what you do and could’ve done the math before the tear down. I feel this car was worth fixing just because it’s a special car that should’ve been put back on the road. You said it from the get go it kept the lights on , as in it literally paid nothing but the electric bill. Love the channel and the transparency on the numbers. I had a guy that I worked with that we called pockets, because he actually was playing pocket pool more than actually working. Obviously Fernando is a hard worker and great to have around the shop. My friend has a pro charged gen 2 and he blew his first motor cause he still had the stock cats and it was choking the motor out (like as soon as he got it) and he had to go catless….but he now has a built motor in the car with catless headers and runs beautifully

Save all of the harness wire. It brings good money for scrap. Just set a Gaylord box to the side and cash it in once full. Should be at least 1k. Then buy the guys a nice dinner or get a new tool for the shop

I thought you did that with another car, it has to pass an inspection of some sort. What would it be worth then?

Every time I think I’d like to buy, repair, flip more salvage vehicles, I watch a few of your videos and decide not to. I know that I’d try to fix too many and/or become a parts hoarder. I stick with Jeeps because I can do them quickly and easy I don’t mind keeping several for my hunting ranch. If I pull the trigger on a 911 TS like I want, I’m sure it won’t be so easy. Actually on the glass the first local place for mostly everyone would be a safelite , the problem there is 95% of their glass now isn't oem glass with their quotes, you call in for oem and that amount triples..I'd much rather have used oem glass then Chinese junk where you can see waves in the laminated sheet...I do understand the liability but every where else gets their glass shipped in , there's gotta be a way to safely transport it.

The Whipple is a great piece. I didn't realize that Mustang only had the Brembo brakes up front. Maybe because I am used to my 2010 CTS-V with 4 Brembo calipers stopping me!

All of the S550 Mustang brakes are Brembos. Even the rears are made by Brembo. They're just not marked. The fronts that were marked are 6 piston Brembos as opposed to the 4 piston regular GT and 6 and 4cyl front calipers that are also Brembos just not marked as Brembos.

Y’all could take all the wiring harnesses off and get a dumpster size bin throw all the copper wiring in there and could sell it to the scrap yard and make a big chunk of cash along with more valuable stuff and could make more money doing it that way y’all leave to much meat on the bone … y’all leave that in the car and then get so much per shell but if you stripped the copper wiring out throw it in a trash dumpster type bin then take it and sell it it’s worth a lot more than just leaving it in the shell
