Great video always. We sold our Kodiaq back in January for £2.5k more on motorway than we were offered in part ex. Driver collected, checked it was as described and money transferred within minutes. Meant we could get our EV charger installed technically for free and take a little holiday! Keep up the good work, love the channel

Took my white 3dr UP Gti (19 reg. 25k fsh) to wbac just under a year ago. Online they offered £10900. The car needed one wheel refurb & had a tiny crease in the front wing (very minor. Happened when it was parked. No note left! 😡) I fully expected to spit my dummy out at the actual offer. The guy was lovely (Skippers Lane Middlesbrough) he checked it over, video'd it running, then ran the numbers. I was offered £11200! I nearly fell over. Values must have altered upwards between getting a quote & my visit... I snapped his hand off & ended up walking 8 miles home, as I'd expected to be insulted & not selling it, so hadn't arranged a lift! - I wanted to hate them. But. Was actually very happy. Sorry! 😅 Great vid. Lovely car you bought. ❤

Kev, sorry I've not tuned in for a while, been busy doing my own stuff but great video and what a lovely lovely car. I agree with what you say about the R-design to match spec. We bought a BMW X3 recently, and when looking at reviews they were all coming back saying the M-sport is too firm with the suspension, big alloys and low pro tyres so we went for a well specced X line for that reason. You buy an SUV you want comfort. Again, great video, lovely car.

Hiya Kev the wife and I loved the video on the Tiguan and we too had some brilliant luck a few weeks back. We found and purchased a VW Golf SV 1.5 TSI 2020 with only 2,500 miles from new. It does not have leather seats but it does have the 16” alloy wheels and soft suspension so for us ( just retired ) it is a pleasure to drive. Well done with the Tiguan and no doubt with your amazing touch it will look even more stunning than it already does. Keep up the brilliant videos that we always look forward to. 👍👍😀

What a fantastic VW clean and low mileage with superb service history you are a very lucky man Kev to get the deal of a lifetime. Maybe Claire might have the VW and part with her baby landy. lol I personally would not trust those company’s I prefer to deal with the owner of the car I think you need to meet the owner to get some sort of feel of what life the car has had. Nice one kev its the little man in big shoes which shows the tricks others use to get a better buying price to increase their profit. We sold a 70 plate ford kuga to motorway two years ago and got 23k it had only done 7k miles and was like new. it went from here to Bristol and was sold within three days at £24199 somebody got a nice car. all we done to it was add a tow bar. and towed our trailer for short distances. these car bases can work but there are still the odd rogue people out there. nice video crack on be safe

Im loving all these stories clearly there are some nice cars out there being sold to these kinds of platforms which makes me feel quite a lot better. Im sure there are still people being naughty but if you are willing to put your car on this sort of platform id like to think its ok ya know........otherwise it would be WBAC im sure. I've sold 3 cars to WBAC - always at a lower price than first quoted online (even after putting any damages in) - however, it's reassuring to know that you can sell the car on a specific day rather than wait ages to sell via online classifieds and deal with timewasters and chancers. One time I drove a car to WBAC on a given day, walked down the road to a dealership and drove away in a replacement I'd arranged. Convenience.

I sold my VW T6 work van on Car Wow. Best price offered, they collected it from me, checked it over, no questions, payed the money and drove off. Easy! Dealer offered me £2000 less! The company that bought it, made £1500 on the vehicle with minimal prep because I had looked after it. Shows that main dealers are plain greedy! Nice car that... All the best to Derek on the move abroad! Nice to see there are others that look after their vehicles so well!

Hi kev & claire,sound was fine at the beginning without the mic and better than with the mic personally,I don't understand why people still use wbac as whatever price they give on the Website is never the actual price they give you,gotta say I'd be chuffed if you both turned up at my doorstep😂,what a lovelyguy derek was and good luck to him and his wife,only 28k in 10 years that's low and what a beautiful car but taking it to the main dealer doesn't always mean it's been done properly as heard lots of stories about how main dealers charge for work not actually done,love how Derek keeps saying time is off the essence and kev keeps chatting 🤣🤣love it kev,if you ever bought a car from me kev you would literally been here all day as I talk like you😂

It’s used car dealers who drive the ‘ full main dealer servicing’ crap. Having seen the servicing standards of main dealers fall to abysmal levels , it’s now is just stamps in a book and certainly not a guarantee of a well cared for vehicle .

It’s a scam that’s been going a while on Facebook etc. One buyer distracts the owner while the other put oil in the exhaust to create smoke or they put water on the expansion tank.

I think car wow and motorway are good sources at the moment,but im down the road from you in Halsted and we are dead as a do do... The only stuff selling are cheaper small cars and they are hard to buy and have a margin in them.I know the Marriot group very well and have dealt with them for 25 years and they are really slow too.considering they have 5 garages to sell from. Glad you are doing ok though as you do it the correct way unlike some traders Kev.
