Since Jimbo's Lamborghini Murcielago won't be ready for Gold Rush Rally in time, he decided to go with his Plan B, and that was buying ANOTHER Mercedes. Specifically, a 2006 S65 AMG. These cars by today's standards are monsters, but back in 2006, virtually nothing besides a boosted supra could keep up with these. FROM THE FACTORY they made 604HP, and 738TQ! With a tune, they make even more.
Interestingly enough, this motor is also used in Randy's beloved Pagani Huayra Hypercar. This car is a highway monster, & is comically cheap to buy, but there's a reason for that. If ANYTHING breaks on this car (and plenty of things do), it'll be a decent fraction of the car's value to repair.
This S65 AMG is a ONE OWNER dealer maintained car. Amazing service history, it's in fantastic condition, and Jimbo bought it for $17,000.

W220’s are the forgotten S-Class I feel like.S65 is a bargain in that chassis if you can find a clean example. I would recommend replacing the ABC accumulators as preventative maintenance FYI.

We better see some straight pipes, a wrap, a tune, chrome delete, lower it and maybe some new rims and tires. You should also wrap all that interior brown trim in carbon fiber. Also for the wrap, go satin grey with black badges. Smoke the tail lights and reflectors. Maybe even throw on a body kit (wing, bumpers, grille, side skirts, etc) She would look real clean!

Brother i have a 03 s600 v12 with 45k miles and i did a muffler delete for a drone sound the only thing you will need to do is a resonator delete that will enhance your sound they are fast if you tune it you will have more power.

when I was little my father had a 2006 S55 amg in white. it was just the v8 kompressor but it's identical to yours. it introduced me to the car world man. it was so fast. SO fast. I remember when he would accelerate getting onto the freeways and I would try to put my hands on the dashboard but it kept me stuck to my seat. the electronic/moving bolsters were really cool too, even though I was pretty small when he had the car I could feel it in turns. a bit of a nostalgia trip, but I have to say it's a great car to have, looking forward to seeing the content you make with it 👍
