Adding expanded metal on the ramps, now that was definitely a good idea. More traction when loading equipment.

Oh yeah my worker was terrified that he would break his leg so I had to do it.

@@Northbaylandscaping When loading my trailer for the quad, wheel barrow etc(not heavy equip.) I use 8' scaffolding decks, alot lighter than the heavy ramps, just a thought.

Goosenecks will outperform bumper pulls all day long.More load centering over rear axle,better control,less chop,ease of maneuving into jackknifing position.N@N from the trailers ive owned and looked at are some of the best built.PLUS,most people won't ask to borrow them.

I bought a similar built trailer to yours from N&N last year 2020, I ordered it with upgraded axles (8k) tires and rims deck over neck and the mesh sides from Action Trailers. My trailer had a bad shake from day one, I told N&N and showed them the axles needed alignment, they decided to replace the axles (and that did not fixed the problem) I had to get a local shop to cut a new trailer and install new hangers properly aligned (this fixed the problem) N&N did reimburse me for the repairs. ( I had a Big Tex tandem dually prior, I will go back to Big Tex better built and smother pull)

Good to know. Do you still have your 8k axles? I wish I had know that was an option.

Is that a 16 foot dump? It’s exactly the trailer I’m considering
@Northbaylandscaping Жыл бұрын

Owner: I’m limited in how much weight I can have behind me.. Also owner: I ordered every upgrade that adds hundreds of pounds ti the trailer and added 300 pounds of tire that while has extra capacity. He can’t make up for the weight by hauling more legally. Yes those options are nice but if you can legally only have 17k behind you total and your trailer now weighs 11 you wasted your money and time. A bumper pull that weighs 4500 pounds would be just as beneficial for him because he is so worried about weight

The truck in this video was inadequate for the trailer you would be correct but, I upgraded the truck since and that is no longer an issue. Did I loose money no because I got money back on the 2500 and bought 3500

THE NECK on your trailer looks like it's made of 1/8 INCH wall pipe..........VERY CHEAP......and weak ! Should be made of 1/4 inch wall thickness pipe at the minimum !
@Northbaylandscaping3 жыл бұрын
If you're talking about 6:13 this it's 1/4" but it looks like 1/8" because the edge has been taken off and the way the light hits it. Anyway I would think there's a standard for that.
