For me, when comparing this to the Golf 8 GTI, the Golf only has its looks (interior and exterior) going for it. Though it's not like the I30 N looks bad. In fact this car is gorgeous. The I30 N outperforms the GTI and it does so at a slightly cheaper price. Plus all the equipment you get as standard compared to the Golf. No man this I30 N is proper. With my imaginary thousands I'd take the I30 N over the Gold 8 GTI😂. That 8.9L/100KM is wishful thinking shem😂 Awesome, awesome, awesome review as always. You only buy a Golf GTI because you like a Golf GTI. And the Golf will have slightly better interior, especially the seats if properly taken care of. But it's more expensive overall. I bought a Kona N, the competition would be a T-Roc R, for almost 35% more. But it's not 35% better. (36k Euro vs 50k Euro) with comparable equipment. I wouldn't pay 14k Euro for slightly better interior and AWD.

Performance wise it’s way better than the VW not to mention price. On the other hand, the fact that it depreciates so much is a red flag and imagine that interior in 5 years how it would look coz already it looks outdated.

Well done morena well done this car has 2 competitors and it mops the floor with both of them its fast and affordable than golf 8(Gti) and also my beloved brand BMW 128 ti, The only hatch that can destroy this car is Golf R and BMW M135, but they cross the 1 million market. Im team BMW but i wouldnt even think twice but buy this car out of the 3 (i30N, 128ti & golf 8) if i had 700k
