I think a much cheaper option is to get a Lebara Sim, which is sold at the AKO shop in Schiphol.

If I only need a SIM card to use google maps to navigate around Amsterdam, which GB should I get? UPDATE: I decided to go with the esim (AIRALO) the best decision ever. There was no purchasing of an actual sim card. For the Nederlands I purchased 1GB which was more than enough 3:14 for 7 days for $4.50 USD. AIRALO is definitely the way to go!!

Unfortunately, the shipping for SimOptions costs $12.70, so it is just as expensive as buying it at the airport. So I guess we will just have to pay a lot for the sim card.
