Manual all the way! Personally it's about experiences & a manual engages you as a part of the car. It may not be Ferrari level. But I've managed a pair of 240z's (4 speed cars) along with a pair of Corvettes (6 speeds). I've driven their automatic versions & IMO it makes the cars nearly boring after a bit.

Driving a manual on a great road is the best feeling ever. You dont even have to drive 10/10ths just pushing it a little and rowing through the gears is an amazing feeling!!

There are two arguments for automatic IMO. 1. Great if you live in a congested city and still want to daily drive a sports car. 2. Automatics were generally owned by adults. This means there are modern classics that were driven respectfully, well maintained and not modified by kids. There are clean affordable autos out there waiting for a manual conversion.

Yeah I can relate I just love driving back when I was younger we actually had a route that we would drive just for hours i had 95 talon TSI turbo five-speed souped up to about 400 hp it was a blast Actually still have the car and a 13 Audi S6 pushing about 600hp. I envy your life I wish I could just drive for a living

Absolutely live driving..especially a stick shift..it really is something special. My favorite car ive had that I enjoyed the most was my E92 BMW 335i..if I was having a bad day all I would have to do is get in that and just and go thru the gears.

Same with a manual 981 cayman, these are not mega fast...
