I have to share this with you, but those bows brought up a memory. I had my first yard sale, and my husband decided to go fishing. so he did not price his things, especially his bow.. well I had no idea and sold it for $5.00. I’ve yet to hear the end of it. But he should have said don’t sale that for less than…. And that plant y’all got, they are hen and chicks, they multiply. They’re a succulent. But these may turn a dark whine like color, they will multiply. You can plant them in a strawberry pot, they’ll sprout babies out from the sides, you can pull them off and just stick in another pot of soil(a light sandy like soil. You’ll love them, they take care of themselves. Don’t over water though. Good finds so far y’all! Blessings from TN❤️

Those hen and chick plants have gotten very popular where I live - the tiny ones sell for $2-$4 EACH at my local plant nursery! The larger ones go for up to $15 each, depending on type! I ended up planting herbs in my strawberry pots because I could not afford the hens and chicks! 😆

The brass axe is an African Tiv Ritual axe from Nigeria. Probably a modern made for the tourist trade, but i guess it could be real. The replicas have been made and sold to tourist since the Victorian era straight through to today. Almost certainly hand made they are all fairly unique. The originals go back centuries. Some originals are housed at the British museum, if I remember correctly, as part of "their" Benin Bronzes collection.

@bobcostas97162 ай бұрын
@@kingsdaughter3138 I expect it's a weeding tool. You'd chop it in next to the dandelion or whatever, then pry it out, taking the roots with it. The spikes keep it from slipping while you're prying. The fact that it's brass means it's not a serious cutting tool like an adze. You can see how it's reinforced on the back, but not under the "beak" so it seems it would be used to pry something that way.

I just saw on Antiques Roadshow that antique ball and chains can start at 10lbs and they would put one on each foot - weight depended on person's weight/size and health. So, for instance, a 75 year old man who only weighs like 120 lbs and isn't in great condition, they may only put 10lb ball and chains on each foot. I love you guys!

Also, that unique brass tool with the wooden handle looks like the flat end is used to pry something open and the tooth end is used to grip for leverage. Thete is a newspaper called Farm & Dairy up here around Ohio that has a section called " Hazard A Guess?" People can submit a photo of their item and readers are encouraged to submit their ideas. Kayla, those succulents you bought, are the easiest plant to grow. They are called hen and chicks. They multiply fairly quickly. Since you live in a sandy area is perfect. Those love sand and sun. They actually come from the desert. Water and sun and you have them forever plus more. They would be beautiful around a sandy area with some driftwood and some unusual rocks and maybe some cacti. Hard to kill.
