For the durango, i have noticed copart is now labeling theft recovered hellcats as vandalism since they sometimes recover them without damage or minimal damage like broken window and the take off panels to disconnect the gps sometimes rip cables

Not an expert but that maybe a car that was used buy guys a little south of the US or people connect to a business that requires a bulletproof truck. And it actually makes a lot of sense that it’s gone missing. It won’t come back on a market, it’s just gone forever.

I bought a low mileage rolled Tacoma with the V6 and a 6-speed manual. Used a lift to straighten out the cab just enough to get glass back in it and sold it for damn near double the money. It looked awesome. Every single panel was damaged so there was not point in trying to make it pretty. Mint interior but wasted on the outside: literally the perfect truck.

Maaaan, that is one JANK-ass armor job, 100%. High cg and more weight on stock suspension, unarmored floor, engine not protected, no run-flats, stock roof and unarmored cab-rear... That's some dollar store/great value-style "hey, i know a guy that can do it cheaper" hackage.

Crash happened in Encino CA in Dec 2022. Looks like the TRX was going really fast and side swiped a tractor trailer head on, then went over on its side. The TRX actually came out better than the tractor trailer. You can find videos on KZbin of the crash scene.

If it has a "hellcat" engine in it, its almost guaranteed to get wrecked, stolen or extremely tackily "modified". It seems that way at least. Btw, starting a vehicle with that much core support damage is not a brite idea.. more likely then not, someone put the keys away somewhere to keep from more damage occurring

That challenger red eye....that may not just be light front end damage. For one, i notice the engine looked slightly angled, which says it might have been pushed back. Once you get under it, look for marks on the front crossbeams. That may mean more damage and insurance companies use that as a criteria for totaling cars out....depends on the company. Engine looks clean, but there could very well be damage on the bottom end. That bent rail tells me that there is more damage you cant see from there. Thing is i see so many Challengers with front end damage. My first, an 09, suffered that fate, so im aware of how this works. Plus, a few friends who are car guys said it could be pulled, but it wont feel or drive the same way again. Maybe you can fix it and get it back to factory specs. Id love to see it. Fyi, i got a carfax notice on my 09.....it was repaied/rebuilt and is owned by someone in Illinois. I wonder how they made out. Whoever rebuilt it put on a lot of mileage. Good luck, im interested in seeing what you buy and how you make out.

It's just a PA system because you can't communicate with people outside the vehicle so I'm gonna assume a 2 way PA system was installed so the occupants don't have to open doors or crack windows to communicate. If you pay attention you can actually spot armored vehicles in every day traffic. More common then you'd think.

On that trx you WILL need a donor cab and bed, maybe the frame as well. My uncles 2018 silverado needed a bed, and cab it cost him around 8k at a shop

It's not just the glass, they literally have armored panels everywhere either kevlar or steel. Not something easy to put back to stock.
