Nice Mike!!! How in the hell did you get that in the $10K budget?!? Actually, it doesn’t matter That is a sweet car! No offense, but to my eye this is the best looking C class Benz ever! Fell in love with this body style when watching Top Gear when Clarkson took a silver AMG version of this against the BMW M3 sedan and the Audi. (To me it was the best sounding Merc too! Sorry Beast, we still love ya!) And I’m glad you were being thoughtful when picking this too. A sedan with AWD, yeah it may not be the fastest or most exciting car for the price, but this will be good for pretty much everyone! And to have it all gone over before giving it away, making sure everything is in perfect working order... you definitely have a big heart Mike... Let’s just hope Sydney doesn’t fall in love with this. The bad news is because Mercedes is German people think their money pits just like BMW and Audi and they have the same Prestige as a Rolls-Royce which is another overpriced unreliable crap. The good news is part of that scares the public so the cars depreciate and you can pick up used Mercedes very cheap if you're not wealthy enough to buy brand new it's the best! 😎🤗👊

I love how people bash MB all the time and state how they are so unreliable. Have you actually ever owned an MB before or is this just hearsay? I have this same car but it's a 2008 c350 (owned for 8 years) with over 100k miles and I haven't experienced any major issues beyond the regular maintenance that's required. If you properly take care of the car they will last 200-300k miles. Yes, you are right MB can become money pits (or really any car) if you don't do a prepurchase inspection and then you're required to take the car to the dealer (markups are 3-4x on parts) or a local car shop to get fixed. That's why it's important to purchase a used vehicle with the service record history so you know upfront what exactly has been performed on the car. Also, these cars are extremely easy to work on compared to Asian vehicles (trust me, my wife has a Nissan Murano and that's a poorly engineered vehicle). FCP Euro has the most competitive pricing on OE/EOM parts and they guarantee them for life (everything from brake pads, gaskets, brake rotors, filters, and wiper blades).
