You're missing out on the Cuabas, they are honestly AMAZING. They are medium to full bodied but they are just phenomenal.

@@KimoKapaku definitely try the smaller vitolas first to ease yourself into it, I’d recommend the tradicionales for your first cuaba!

Thanks for the video. Based on the camera work, you're right about the cigars looking a little "Dry". I just came back from 5 nights in Havana and 3 nights in Varadero. Unfortunately, the supply was abysmal! For boxes (aside from the high priced Cohibas and Trinidads in boxes) were very limited to nothing bigger than a robusto or corona. Forget about the mainstays -all for export. Went to 8 different LCDH and specialist shops in Havana - everywhere was the same.

Did you go to the shop at the Comodoro which is my go to shop each time in Havana?

@@KimoKapaku Not the Comodoro, but I was told it was the same there. I went LCDHs all over 5ta and 16, La Triada, Club Habana, Tryp Libre, Hotel Nacional, Casa Partagas shop near Kempinski, and a bunch of Caracol shops. It's like ghost towns in each of them. But still lots of Trinidads and Cohiba available but not all sizes.

That cabinet of Por Larranaga petite coronas looked like a deal to me. Plus the US$ has been getting stronger since the presidential election yesterday. $17.47MX to the $1US at the moment. Side note: I also don't know anyone that has smoked a Cuaba 🤷‍♂ 🤣🤣🤣

First off it's illegal to bring any cuban products into the U.S. Now that I got that part over, Cruises are probably the easiest way to bring shit back bc so many people are disembarking at once. 1 word of caution. The Cozumel store like the Cancun store does have a reputation of selling fakes. If by chance you are spending the entire day in cozumel I invite you to take the ferry over to Playa del Carmen (35min ride $14 each way) and i can meet up with you and have a smoke. I will be back June 11th thru July so let me know.

@@KimoKapaku Brother, thanks for the invite, truly. I have a cigar making excursion with the wifey that includes food, drinks and soaking up the beach. I was wandering how I was going to sneak away and catch a quick ride to the LCDH 🤷🏽. I’ll definitely put that in my back pocket for a rainy day. Thanks bud.. When you say fakes, I’m assuming it would be the singles as opposed to the sealed boxes. Now that I know what to look for.

Unfortunately I dont think SA Habanos is suffering from dropping sales. Latest news from SA Habanos last year was an increase in sales. Unfortunately for those of us who dont have the means, its a bit tougher and hence why Im looking for some deals.
