I'm a Filipino, thanks for helping a lot of my countrymen.😍🇵🇭 When they call you Joe its just a general nick name for a foreigner that comes to our country. You should have a Filipino nick name like other vloggers that come here and you will see Filipinos will love you even more because you are embracing our culture. Having a nick means you are really close to our hearts.😀

Hi Travis, I came across your tarsier vlog in Bohol, Philippines. Watched it, loved it and prompted me to watch more of your videos especially vlogs from the Philippines (I’m Filipino descent living in the U.S. for many decades). BTW, you got me to subscribed to your channel on the first or second Philippine video I saw. You got me addicted watching your videos and how nice you interact with nature and the people. Thank you for being friendly, kind-hearted, generous, compassionate to my fellow Filipinos. Your demeanor interacting with people is superb and it tells more about how nice your morality and personality are. I am looking forward to watch more of your adventures in the Philippines. Travel safe and please do take care. Drop me a line if your visiting San Francisco, California.

That fried banana is available in many Southeast Asian countries, the sweetness should be slightly different in different regions, it is delicious for me! in addition, I don't want you to think I'm nosy, but sending food is actually very dangerous in some countries, so beware!

be careful in crowded places like that, Travis. if anyone gets too suspiciously close to you, like follows you everywhere (especially in the streets of Manila), it might be a pickpocket/thief. not all that gets close are like that, of course. some are just curious. but if they're like literally inches away from you, just be very vigilant but do not lose the friendliness because Filipinos are just naturally friendly and curious.

Another wonderful vlog! This delicacy is made out of Ash Plantain, not Banana (of course a close cousin of Ash Plantain). I think you might have missed this in Sri Lanka, we called this Banana Pillows, friend, and dipped in honey. Maybe next time you visit Sri Lanka try it. I have seen similar Banana Pillows in Bohol and also in Cebu. Here is something that will definitely blow you away... Sugar Cane smoothy. Try it machan! 👌❤ (Very nice of you giving away Turons mate, you make friends very quickly!)
