Halo halo is best eaten when the shaved ice is not melted, don't mix too much because when it melts and turns into liquid it's like drinking a milk shake, just my opinion or disclaimer 😄😅 in my case I prefer biting/chewing the ice with the halo halo ingredients it's more refreshing.😆😄

That's a fairly rich ice, they should use bigger bowls for your ice; Actually, you look more like John Travolta than Elton John; Looking forward to watching you eat Balut that most people dare not eat, thank you for sharing!👍😀👏 配料相當豐富的冰品,他們應該用更大的碗裝你的冰; 其實,你看起來更像約翰屈伏塔,而不是艾爾頓強耶; 期待下集看你吃大部份人不敢吃的鴨子蛋,謝謝分享!

Sir the halo halo ingredients varies in every part of the country it depends in what province. What ever is common or easily to get in a province.Here in our province the most common are sweet potatoe, banana, coconut, gulaman, tapioca, ube, leche flan, pinipig etc.
@annon6582 жыл бұрын
I can give you a tip to carefully mix the halo-halo. If there's too much of everything in one cup, try to crush the ice first til watery so you can safely mix the ingredients without spilling anything.

"Halo-halo" also means "different kinds of ingredients" or parts or objects. In English, it is called "varieties". So, "halo-halo" means: different kinds of ingredients that you mix and mix.

Halo Halo is best dessert treat specially at tropical summer. The best way to eat this is to thaw the ice a little bit so that you can easily mix and crushes the Halo Halo. Another summer desserts are, Sorbetes, an iced cream but it used coconut milk as a ingredients and Ginataan Bilo Bilo (Sticky Rice balls in Coconut Milk) a local snack dish still been eaten even in summer (at that time when ice cream not so popular or should we say refrigeration is luxury in that time, Filipinos eat Ginataan Bilo Bilo at summers, because they believe,it's faster to adapt in hot summers when you eat or drink hot foods or berverages like hot cocoa or coffee)

Ube is a root crop and the color is deep lavender. So you dig the soil and remove the ube. It's usually big, shape is irregular w/ thin skin & it's leaves are like vines. Casava the one he is saying is also a root crop. Cassava is white, with thick skin and the shape is oval. Another difference is that Ube's leaved crips in the ground while cassava the main stem goes upward with large leaves.

the first jollibee is coming to campletown, nsw.. they are building it. camote - if i'm not mistaken, it's sweet potato ube - purple yam the reference to cassava -- is because they are all root based plants -- think of potato. The rest are jelly -- kaong, nata de coco etc.. except for fruits Leche flan -- is like any flans or creme bule if you like.. the filipino version of it though uses egg yolks only whilst mexicans uses all of it including egg whites.. otherwise.. they are all similar/ the same. as base is ice -- evertyhing you put in there is up to you -- so long as it's on the sweet side and soft as it makes it a better combination

Halo-Halo is our traditional family merienda (snack) during Good Friday when our father was still alive. We buy the ingredients (red mongo beans, pinipig, saging na saba, white beans, nata de coco, kaong and ube or purple yam and leche plan) at our local talipapa (neighborhood public market), cook them, let them cool down before serving. We also buy a 12×6 block ice and with the use of an ice shaver, produce shaved ice and put the shaved ice into a big plastic glass filled with the ingredients, topping it with leche plan. It is want to sawa (eat until you give up) for us.

You're a nice guy Travis. You're appreciative of everything. The resto owner should give their staff some kind of orientation about the food they are serving.
