Lol, what a crazy ending! Thanks for taking the time to do these vids. The way you talk through your decisions, as well as the moves of the other players, is fantastic. Since we don’t know what cards they have it makes the game flow naturally with tense moments and surprises =) Also, one thing you do that really helps is that when you are talking about a card/ tech to buy or to play (either yourself or an opponent) you hover your mouse over it. That magnifies the card which allows me to pause the video and read it since I don’t have a ton of the cards memorized by name (yet). Thanks again man and great game!

I’m glad you like it! I’ve been making an effort to make sure everything is explained decently well. I hate watching board game videos where you can’t tell what’s going on unless you know a lot about the game already

I was green, Forgot to deploy the Dreadnought about 3 times in the game when going to a combat space, Also at some point forgot to get a troop reward, And my 2 deciding mistakes was when I buy the last tech (not really usefull) and at 1:09:40, my first move should have been Mentat, then I’ll have the card to steal Fremem from blue xD Also considering I could go any blue area whichout being blocked. It was a great game guys 👊 Learned a lot with the rewind and comments by @Orsky

0:35 People like court intrigwue when they need access to faction no matter what. The unique aspect of this card is its ability to go unblocked. This card CAN be good in certain decks or with certain characters but you need to know what you're doing with it. Don't buy it just becuase you can, if you're not sure if you need it then you dont need it. This card is good for: -> If you also have Appropriate, Opulence or Firm Grip. All those cards care about imperial access or just having money in general. -> If you have Shifting alliances. Any faction access is going to help improve how got your faction stealing bonuses will be. -> Yuna. This is yet another way of making extra bucks to help fuelling signet. -> Tessa. Tessa wants faction access. Cheap faction access is perfect. Even if you dont need Imperial benefits then you just shift to something else. -> Baron. Since you usually have some dead intrgues its nice to just cycle out bad ones into new ones. This card is not good for: -> Spice strategies. It is just 1 buying power, if you are playing Helena, Paul or maybe Ariana and you expect to not be fighting much or racing faction access then you will be propably in spice buying game plan. You do not want any 1 buying power cards and its probably good to not buy any starting from early game. -> Combat characters like Beast, obviously you wont be racing on faction tracks much. -> Shipping and Techtiles characters like Hundro, Rhombur or Memmon. Between getting spice and shipping you wont have much time to also take care of Imperial faction track. Ok and now im back to watching.

Thats the first time I have ever seen no VP Combats up until Combat III. It's probably the reason why everybody got so close at the end, since all the win conditions were equally viable given that much time. Awesome game!

At 29:00 an awesome play instead of taking the high council seat would have been to take the 3 spice with the signet, take the mentat with your intrigue and pay the 7 solari for the signet ability bumping the bene gesserit track (1 point). Then the following turn you could go to empreror with the mentat, take the 3 solari and the bump and use your other intrigue for the bump in both fremen and emperor for the alliance and 2nd bump in the fremen for a total of 3 points in the same turn and still having 5 solari for seat next turn.

I love your videos so much! And you just seem like such a fun and kind person! Yuna is my fav leader for sure. In the late game, when Boundless Ambition was out, i think it was smart for you not to take it. But i would disagree with you that Paul shouldn't have gotten it, it has every faction access and kets him draw a card. Pretty strong

41:00 I did not like that appropriate play honestly. You were playing into a SMF strategy, yet you opted out of the easy VP. I think long term it was better to get that VP, because you would cycle through and get that card again. By then you'd get more solari too. Sick win at the end tho. Nice.

I made so many mistakes, was thinking I will be the last. Fortunately it was not. 2 huge mistake with green and gambling with you at Bene Gesserit, I just hoped that you dont have Bribery 😬
